The Countryman E6i Cardioid Microphone is a miniature ear-set microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.
The cardioid version effectively minimizes off-axis feedback and noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and noisy sources. Flexible microphone positioning is maintained and the included windscreen minimizes the wind noise often associated with cardioid microphones.
The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.
A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is tan and features a Switchcraft TA4F connector for use with specific* Electro-Voice wireless transmitters.

A miniature cardioid capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin.
The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters. The Duramax 2mm diameter cable provides extra strength, flexibility and durability.
The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis residual noise from e nearby monitor speakers, instruments and loud sources. The result is increased signal-to-noise ratio and minimal feedback. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning. The E6i is also available in an omnidirectional version for maximum control over wind noise and plosives (popping).
This E6i's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture general speech without noise and distortion.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. what is the field of view on the three lens?
A: A 2x anamorphic lens doubles the horizontal field of view of the taking lens. Therefore on a MFT camera in 4:3 mode, a 35mm anamorphic lens will have the same filed of view as a 17.5mm or 52.61. A 50mm will be the same as a 25mm or 38.17. The 70mm will be the same as a 35mm or 27.76.
Q: 2. Does it feel as comfortable as SONY vertical grip for A9? Based on one of the question, it only adds 1/2 inch height, if so, it won't fit every fingers, pinky will still protrude out of the base! ? Anyone ever compared it side by side?
A: using the 7RIII with the RRS L-Plate. The 1/2 inch increase does make the camera more comfortable in the hand. However, I use the L-Plate mostly on a tripod for architecture & interiors. If you do portraiture and use the camera mostly hand held, then I'm in the opinion the vertical grip would be a better choice.
Q: 3. Can the base of this tilt head be configured to be Arca clamp compatible wit the installation of an Arca style plate?
A: Yes, the Desmond DMH-2X1 Monopod Tilt Head as a Arca-Type Adaptable Base.
Q: 4. Can I use this lens on Panasonic G7
A: These lenses will mount on the Panasonic G7 and create an image. We would however, recommend a higher level camera like the Panasonic GH5 to better take advantage of what these lenses can do.
Q: 5. I've never seen a simple L-Bracket so expensive for a mirrorless camera. This appears to be gouging from the manufacturer. Do you think you could recommend a price restructuring?
A: I was skeptical as well but once you see this product in person and have compared it to others for this camera (Sony A9, A7iii), there's definitely a quality upgrade in terms of fit and solidity. Design and material is highest quality. Built-in magnet, adjustment tool, QD attachment, and captured slide bracket are unique and add functionality. Probably not worth it to someone who doesn't use the camera every day.
Q: 6. Will this work with the a7iii?
A: Yes. It works fine. I got one for my A7 iii a couple of days ago.
Q: 7. What are the dimensions of this product? I see 5.8 height, but how long is it? How wide is it?
A: Widest 7 . Arm 14.5.
Q: 8. Would be directly compatible with the mount on the DJI Ronin-S gimbal?
A: No, the Really Right Stuff L-Plate Set for Sony Alpha a9 and a7R III will not be directly compatible with the mount on the DJI Ronin-S gimbal.
Q: 9. What is the load capacity of this head? JR
A: The load capacity of the head is 22 lbs/10kg.
Q: 10. Will this fit on the new A7r IV?
A: No, they have a grip specific to the A7R4, click the link below to view; https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=rrs%20a7r4&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma
