The tan B3 Omnidirectional Lavalier Mic, Low Sens, with LEMO 4-Pin Connector for Telex Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a water-resistant, miniature lavalier microphone for capturing high-quality audio. It can be used in a variety of applications such as a tie-clip lavalier in interviews, a hair-hidden mic for drama, a water-resistant mic for water sports and hurricane reporting, or simply a small mic to hide in a prop flower vase.

The capsule is resistant to moisture, which allows for placement in the hair or on bare skin, and its omnidirectional polar pattern minimizes handling noise, wind noise, and plosives (popping). Furthermore, a variety of skin-matching colors are available. The B3's cable terminates to a LEMO 4-pin connector for direct connection to a Telex WT-200, WT-400, or WT-450 wireless bodypack transmitter. Additionally, a carrying case, two cable clips, a windscreen, and three protective caps are also included.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B3 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B3 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps, and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B3 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 150 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B3 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it work with Nikon P1000?

A: According to Nikon USA, no, the Nikon SU-800 Wireless Speedlight Commander Unit is not compatible for use with the Nikon COOLPIX P1000 Digital Camera. According to page 211-212 of the he Nikon COOLPIX P1000 Digital Camera is only compatible for use with the Nikon SB-5000, SB-700, and SB-500 Speedlite Flashes. Furthermore, the Reference Manual for the Nikon COOLPIX P1000 Digital Camera states that this camera does not support flash color information communication, Auto FP High-Speed Sync, FV lock, AF-assist illumination for multi-point AF, or the wireless lighting function when using Speedlights. As it does not support the wireless lighting function, the SU-800 would not be compatible with this camera.

Q: 2. Can the SU-800 trigger the DSLR300 flash unit?

A: The SU-800 is not compatible with the Nikon SB-300 flash.

Q: 3. These do work with alien bee strobes?

A: They can work with any strobes one you have the correct cable to connect receiver to strobe.

Q: 4. Hi, is it possible to activate standby mode?

A: Standby mode is automatic and based on flash settings.

Q: 5. Can I use a Vello off camera flash cord with this SU-800 to get a better vantage point ?

A: Yes. Please review the following Vello Off-Camera TTL Flash Cord for Nikon Cameras (3') BH #VEOCSNK3 • MFR #OCS-NK3 https://bhpho.to/3sKR86D

Q: 6. Will this unit fire the SB-5000 speedlights? I have a Nikon 800e (yes, I can use the on camera flash to trigger them, but I am doing close up work with reflective surfaces and need to have no light coming from the camera.)

A: This will work perfectly with the SB-5000. You can set your 800e so that no light comes from the camera during the actual exposure. I have heard people say that light still comes from the camera during the exposure using the on-board flash, and, maybe on some work -- like close up work -- it's just not perfect. That's what I hear you saying. This is your answer.

Q: 7. Will the X1r work with other brands? Like the Phottix indra. And does HSS works? Thank you

A: No, this will not work with Phottix brand receivers. Use this with a Godox transmitter such as the X1T, X2, or XPRO.

Q: 8. Will the YongNuo Wireless Controller control an SB-900 in slave mode?

A: If you also get the radio tranciever (yn622n, I believe), you can attach your sb900 to it. Then, you'll be able to trigger both the 685 and the sb900 independently.I am using a similar setup (although I use the sb910). Works great. One of the best aspects of this is that the yongnuo radio controller presents all the flash values to you without needing to monkey around in the camera menu. In addition you can also control the flash's zoom setting.

Q: 9. Is it compatible with canon r6

A: Yes. 100% and will communicate with the on-board TTL system.

Q: 10. I have the godox x1T ttl and the godox V860II-N. Do I need a godox x1r-N ttl as well?

A: No, what you have will work together.
