The Countryman E6i Cardioid Microphone is a miniature ear-set microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The cardioid version effectively minimizes off-axis feedback and noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and noisy sources. Flexible microphone positioning is maintained and the included windscreen minimizes the wind noise often associated with cardioid microphones.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.

A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is black and features a 2.5mm Stereo connector for use with Samson wireless transmitters.

A miniature cardioid capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters. The Duramax 2mm diameter cable provides extra strength, flexibility and durability.

The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis residual noise from e nearby monitor speakers, instruments and loud sources. The result is increased signal-to-noise ratio and minimal feedback. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning. The E6i is also available in an omnidirectional version for maximum control over wind noise and plosives (popping).

This E6i's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture strong vocals without noise and distortion. The high headroom is well suited for singers and performers in stage and broadcast applications.

Q: 1. I want to replace my 504HD head (which is broken) with this head. Is it possible to remove the half-ball from the 504 and put on the N8?

A: The ball base on the 504HD is not removable. To get the Nitrotech onto your 75mm tripod, you can use this: Manfrotto 520BALLSH 75mm Short Half-Ball B&H # MA520BSH

Q: 2. Will this ball head handle a 5D MkIV + Canon 100-400mm lens? Just want to make sure it won't droop especially when tilted.

A: Yes it will.

Q: 3. What it is the difference between this one and the Nitrotech N12 Video Head?

A: This is an upgraded and improved version of the Nitrotech N12 head. It allows for continuous counterbalance adjustment. Additionally, an upgraded fluid technology significantly improves continuously variable drag performance and enables smooth and judder-free pan and tilt movements.

Q: 4. Being a flat base, do you get any slip at connection between half ball adapter and the fluid head when your pan drag is set to greater resistance?

A: No. The unit offers set screws to prevent slippage when fastened properly there is no need to worry about using the unit to pan and etc.

Q: 5. Que peso soporta el cabezal?

A: 10 Kg - 22 Lbs

Q: 6. I just bought an Alpen spotting scope. It appears to have both a 1/4-20 threaded mount and a 2nd unthreaded hole. I'm guesing this is for an alignment pin to keep it from rotating when mounted. Does this head support this kind of mount?

A: Yes it will, but make sure you are using a sturdy set of legs. My husband has everything you mentioned.

Q: 7. Is this flat base fluid head compatible with a half ball adapter? If so, what size half ball adapter is it compatible with? (In advance, thank you for your help with this.)

A: Yes it is. The proper half ball adapter will depend on the size of the bowl in the tripod you are using it with. If it has a 75mm bowl you will need the Manfrotto 520BALL 75mm Half Ball Adapter. https://bhpho.to/2ZlRYoA

Q: 8. Are the old V1 batteries and this one interchangable? Can I use this battery in the old V1?

A: Unfortunately, the Godox VB30 Battery for V1Pro Flash Head is not compatible with the older V1. The batteries are not interchangeable.

Q: 9. My unit is stuck in a fixed position, despite loosening the nut all the way. Is there any way to fix it?

A: I would recommend contacting Oben for support. Distributed By - Gradus Group LLCTel: (212) 594-2353 Website http://www.obensupport.com/ Email cs@gradusgroup.com

Q: 10. Would this be a good choice to mount on a monopod when you don't want to use a tripod? Looking for easier maneuverability when in the field.

A: Yes, this is a great choice for a head to go on to a monopod.
