I bought this for my Nikon 28-300mm lens. It fits great with both lens caps and a UV filter on. I didn't try it with the lens hood. It is possible to stuff a Nikon 24-70 2.8 with a UV filter in this lens case, but you will strain to get the zippers closed. It does work, but I would suggest a larger size.

In a small sentence. Yessssssssssssss. Much better than the pearlstone. I definitely recommend this product.

The product is well designed and manufactured. I use it primarily with my Lowepro Toploader Zoom 50 AW II camera case, but its interlock system works equally well with my Lowepro Stealth Reporter D400 AW Shoulder Bag.

This is the second one of these I purchased. With a new lens I needed another one of these to balance my backpack. Well made with a heavy duty Velcro secure strap to attach to the outside. Perfect for my two extra lens! Great purchase!

I purchased this to be used with my 18-300 3.5-5.6 lens and my 105 micro. Unfortunately I order based on this lens specs which do not include the lens hood. That adds a couple of cm of width. I could barely squeeze my lenses in the case, but the hoods had no chance. My older 18-200 lens fits comfortably in this case without the hood. After discovering my error, I ordered the 11x14 lens case and that works great. This case actually fits inside the 11x14 case!

The biggest lens that I have fits very well on this case (Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 for Sony). All my lenses inside this bag seems to be very secure.

I have been using these Lowepro cases for several years to carry around my lenses when I go out shooting. In many occasions they saved my gear from harm, but I remember one particular incident that really made me love these cases. I was caught in the filed in an unexpected torrential rain in Yucatan Mexico that lasted for 30 minutes or more. There was nothing really to cover my stuff from this particular rain, I was not carrying a bigger bag (I attach these cases to a camera holster). Although the case is not sold as waterproof, it amazed me to see the lens completely dry inside the case after the rain was gone. The case did absorb some water so it needed drying after that, but it served its purpose above and beyond the call of duty. (One more lesson learned: always carry a simple nylon bag with all your expensive gear)

I have a LowePro Camera bag that I love. I had need of a separate Lens Case for Travel and I found this one. This is well padded, and has double zippers and a small compartment at the top of the case flap, that one could store a cleaning cloth or a Memory Card. The flap for the case opens wide for easy insertion or removal of the Lens. The only thing that is a negative is this case will only hold 1 Lens at a time. Also if it's any larger or wider than the Nikon 18-105 it won't likely fit. But LowePro makes many different sizes.

This is my second lowepro lens case purchase. This case adequately gits my Sigma 35 MM 1.4/f art lens w/ the hood attached. A little tight w/ the hood, but it will fit. Im currently using this on a month long trip of Thailand abd so far, so good. Case seems well built and padding is generous and protects my lens well.

Better quality than their bags. Pretty good protection, although I may add another layer of material inside--depending on the lens. I have five of these in various sizes. I never take them out of the house unless they are inside a camera bag. You are not going to get the lens out in nanoseconds, so many photogs won't like them.
