A: the diameter of the GT1532 disk is 5 cm.

A: The tripod extended without the column extended is 52.4 inches. And it is about the same with the column taken off.Taking the column out on this model is very easy. This is a new design; a single simple unlocking ring under the column's upper disc frees the column while keeping the upper disc solidly in place on the tripod.

Q: 4. Can the new gitzo..bird watching fluid head fit this pod ? I ask as from pics, the pedestal of this pod width wise looks not as fat as the bird watched head ?

A: It will fit but the head will be a bit too big for the base of the tripod legs. You may want to go with a series 2 or 3 tripod.

A: No, there is no hook attached to the center column of the Gitzo GIGT2545T Traveler Series 2 Carbon Fiber Tripod.

A: The top plate is the same as most any other similar tripod approximately 2 in diameter.

A: The GT1545T comes with a draw string dust cover for storage, but not a carrying bag.

A: Mine does not have a built-in level of any kind. I bought it in Dec 2017, and I'm guessing they have not added one since then.

Q: 9. I have a GT1542T and the Series 1 Traveler Disc wiggles slightly, even when tightened as much as possible. Has anyone else experienced that and if so, how do you fix it?

A: Yes, you can unscrew the leg with the padding on the Benro TMA27C Series 2 Mach3 Carbon Fiber Tripod. you would need to attach the center column to the leg in order to mount your camera or attach the head. The total lenght of the monopod is 67 inches when fully extended.
