Q: 1. Looking at using this with a Sony A7 iii - does this monitor work with more frame rates than just 30fps?

A: This monitor will work great with the Sony A7III. The A7III outputs UHD 4K at up to 30fps, which this monitor can process. It outputs HD at either 24 or 60fps, which this monitor can read as well.

Q: 2. Stand aside, what boom arm payload would I need for this? Would 15lbs on other end work?

A: The Nanlite Forza 720B Bi-Color LED Monolight with Carry Bag on a boom, best would be a boom that supports no less than 15lbs like one of these, https://bhpho.to/3IHVfGz . And the Avenger one you need a counter weight on the back of the boom.

Q: 3. If I shot 4k 60p would I still get an image on this monitor or would nothing show up?

Q: 7. Is there 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 mounting options on the bottom?

Q: 8. Does this work with the Canon 5D Mk 2?

A: I use it with Panasonic Lumix GH4 CAMERA and it works perfect

I use it for my camera, lenses and DOF Adapter, the precuted foam layers are very usefull and easy to work with if you follow the directions, and even thou is a big case, is easy to carry and stack.

I've owned them all. By far, the best hard case is the Hardigg Storm case, recently purchased by Pelican. Hopefully Pelican won't screw up the great acquisition by redesigning them to be more like a Pelican, because that would be a disaster. The Storm case features the best latches on any case, much better than anything Pelican has designed. Handle grips are more comfortable too. I guess since they couldn't beat 'em, they bought 'em. Smart move on Pelican's part, these cases are terrific.

I use this case to store and transport a 21 video monitor. It is another very well made Pelican case. I love the latches (which Pelican inherited when they bought Storm Case). The case is relatively lightweight for it's size. I have 5 or 6 various sizes of these cases and they are all outstanding. If you have delicate gear that needs to be transported, this is an excellent investment!

Have 4 pelican cases. This case has the same quality and build that you expect. Foam is super easy to pluck and shape for the content. Latches are different and much easier to use.

I've purchased two of these cases which I use as luggage. Price-wise they are nearly the same as decent luggage but with all the well known benefits of Pelican cases. The reason for purchasing these as to their Pelican 1650 cousins is simple: lighter weight, a single continuous hinge along the back, and the wheels are the same as roller blades. I think these have a better extendable handle design. I've made a couple modifications. I had nameplates made at a online sign shop. They are permanently mounted and no airport luggage handler will ever tear off my luggage tags ever again. I added (4) casters to the bottom, a much needed design change for easy maneuverability. I stack a backpack or day bag onto of each of these and easily cruise through airports, over thresholds, uneven pavement, and even heavily padded carpet in hotel hallways. The two cases pictured have traveled the globe twice and I would not use anything else!

I use this case to transport a 4 piece LED light set with stands and accessories. Everything fits in perfectly and snugly, and the quality of the latches and materials seems to be better than some of the similar Porta-Brace cases that I use. Heaviness is the only downside

The choice was between this case and a similar Pelican case, but I ended up ordering this because of the weight. Rock solid build quality. Bought it with padded dividers and the organizer. I have 4 bodies, 400mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/2.8, two tripods, laptop and 4-5 different lenses in this case. Still not packed. This case is huge, so it will not suit all purposes.
