A: While I have yet to use mine for hours, I suspect it will operate longer than 80 minutes or so. As mine came without a battery (i purchase elsewhere and paid $50.) I use an external rechargeable cellphone battery unit plugged into the USB port to power it. I am very pleased it works that way as well.
