The black DVO-2 DV Organizer Camera Case from PortaBrace is designed to hold a compact Mini DV camcorder and accessories. It is made from 1000-denier Cordura fabric with a new, slip-resistant, easy-clean rubber bottom. A universal cradle and a tie-down strap hold the camera in place within the bag. There is a soft stuff pouch to keep the camera stable. A plush, 1" thick foam pad adds extra stability and protection.

The case is stackable and can be used as a production case. It features a detachable 15" microphone pocket, two CS-B9 zippered stuff sacks and a white balance card.     A: We are not aware of this unit supporting Genlock.

    Q: 4. Will the Atomos Ninja Assassin record ProRes RAW with this camera?

    A: No. The Ninja Assassin does not have the necessary write speed to support RAW recordings. It will do 4k in ProRes and DNX but not RAW.

    Q: 5. Does the replacement plate come with the same screw as the one supplied with the GH-100 head (meaning, a screw with a ring, so as to attach to a sling strap)?

    A: Yes, this quick release plate is the same as the original that was supplied with the GH-100 head.

    Q: 6. I have the GH-100 pistol grip on my tripod. I want to get a monopod head to use the same plate.Will this plate fit any other head than the GH-100?

    A: Unfortunately this quick release plate is only compatible with the GH-100 head pistol grip model. There are not any other alternative type of head options which use this particular release plate model.

    Q: 7. What's the battery life with a standard Sony battery?

    A: There are many Sony batteries, all with different capacities. We would recommend only the largest, something in the 7800mAh range. Since battery life depends entirely on the device and how it is set up, run time can only be a guess. With a large capacity battery, 90 minutes should be possible, maybe more. The pros take as many batteries as they think they will need for one day of shooting. A little experience with the camera in your working configuration will give you the info you need to know.

    Q: 8. Does this camera put out a "HDMI Trigger" to record on external connected devices that have the function, like the Tascam DR-70D 6 INPUT?

    A: the camera does output HDMI trigger flags that work on the atomos recorder. compatibility depends on the recording device, the camera sends out standard HDMI TC record trigger flags

    Q: 9. Is there an option to support Android devices or this is exclusively for iOS? Maybe an update?

    A: Manufacturer only lists support for iOS at this time. We have not heard of any imminent firmware updates, but product specs are always evolving and Android support may be on its way.

    Q: 10. Can you get standard ProRes 4:2:2 (Not ProRes RAW) when saving to an external SSD?

    A: Yes, you can do ProRes HQ, ProRes 422, ProRes LT, and ProRes Proxy.
