The Proco AVP-1 is a wall-mounted impedance matching unit with multiple audio inputs, designed for Audio/Video applications in school classrooms, lecture halls, and meeting or conference rooms. The unit features a dedicated microphone input, a transformer-balanced, low-impedance barrier strip output, and a hum-canceling ground loop switch on the front panel.

A: Unfortunately it will not. This head is not compatible with 501PL style plates.

A: This plate is not compatible with your tripod. The plate for your tripod has been discontinued. You may want to check Ebay.

Q: 3. Does this fit a Manfrotto 577 quick release adapter (501PL)?

A: I'm afraid not, the QR4 is proprietary to the Benro S2 Head. However the QR6 will work with the 577 quick release adapter.

Q: 4. Will this fit the Benro S8 Pro Video Head? Other customers buy the S8's plate for the Manfrotto 502 head, hoping it works the other way around too.

A: The Benro S8 uses the Benro QR13 Quick Release Plate. This plate is interchangeable with the Manfrotto 504PLONG, 501PL, 519 and the Benro QR6. So yes, the QR13 Quick Release Plate will fit on the Manfrotto 502 since that uses the 504PLONG Long Quick-Release Mounting Plate.

Q: 5. According to specs, this fluid head should be operational at -40 degrees. Is this true? Has anyone tried it in very cold temperatures?

A: The manufacturer's specs are based on workbench tests that are rigidly adhered to and while we do not have first-hand access to those temperature conditions, we have heard of instances where this fluid head did operate successfully at very low, mid-winter New York temperatures.

A: No, this head is not compatible with the Manfrotto 501 plate mechanism.
