Kodak 100-300mm #25 Red Tricolor Wratten 2 Optical Filter (4 X 12")
- Product Code: ga252047
-
The 4 x 12" 100-300mm #25 Red Tricolor Wratten 2 Optical Filter from Kodak is designed to separate tones, build contrast and alter the color wavelength of light.
The filter absorbs blues and greens and enhances reds, which is useful for infrared or landscape photography. Skies become more dramatic and the infrared effect becomes greater. It has a filter factor of eight, so exposure must be increased by three stops to compensate.
The new and improved Wratten 2 filters are more rigid and durable than previous versions, and the colors are more resistant to fading and degradation. Fingerprints and smudges are easily removed, the filters are less sensitive to humidity, and less prone to static cling.
Higher Contrast and Separation of Tones Absorbs Blues and Greens, Enhances Reds For Landscape Photography Dramatic Skies and Clouds Intensifies Effect on Infrared Film

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Will the Image Stabilization in this lens function on an Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mk II?
A: yes it will
Q: 2. Is anyone using this lens for wildlife and/or birds?
A: I am a birder and use this lens with my Panasonic micro four-thirds camera! Great clarity and sharp image. Lightweight as well. This is my second round of Panasonic micro four-thirds camera and lenses. Camera has enough options for ISO that this lens works most of the time. It is not a low light lens but still pretty versatile.
Q: 3. Does this lens fully functional on a Lumix DMC-GF5 body?
A: Yes
Q: 4. B&H specs show the maximum magnification for this lens is 0.21x. A 2x multiplication factor to convert from micro 4/3 sensors to a 35mm equivalent for lens focal length and f/stop. Should the 2.1x max magnification be multiplied by 2 to yield a 4.2 max magnification?
A: If you are comparing the size of the subject you are photographing on the Four Thirds sensor compared to the size of the subject with an equivalent lens on a full-frame sensor, then yes, the subject photographed on the Four Thirds sensor would appear twice as large as the subject on the full-frame sensor. As such, the equivalent full-frame magnification would be 0.42x, which is slightly under 1/2 life-size (NOT 4.2x, which would be slightly over four times larger than life-size).
Q: 5. Does anyone know the difference between the US and the international version? is it the size, weight, glass, motor? what exactly makes them different?
A: The US model comes with a warranty for US customers. This is the only difference.
Q: 6. I want to buy some MFT lenses for my JVC LS300. Are all the Panasonic MFT lenses parfocal and will they all work with the LS300 rocker zoom?
A: The Panasonic Lumix G X Vario PZ 45-175mm f/4-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens B&H # PA451754XB and the Panasonic Lumix G X Vario PZ 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens B&H # PA144235XS can be used with the LS300 and be zoomed by the rocker switch. These lenses are not parfocal and rely on Auto Focus to maintain focus. Also note, the LS300 must crop the sensor to work with these MFT format lenses.
Q: 7. Is this lens compatible with DCM G1?
A: Yes Panasonic Lumix G Vario 100-300mm f/4-5.6 II POWER O.I.S. Lens is compatible with Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1
Q: 8. can you use this lens with the blackmagic zoom and focus demands on a blackmagic studio 4k camera?
A: No.
Q: 9. My GX85 is very small is there any way to mount this lens on a tripod to take load from the camera?
A: The Panasonic Lumix G Vario 100-300mm f/4-5.6 II POWER O.I.S. Lens does not have a tripod collar, however, the lens is not that heavy lens, so you will not need support to use this lens with the Lumix GX85.
Q: 10. Is this lens compatible with the Panasonic GH5?
A: Yes, it works with the GH5.
