A: i'm using the elb400 with an HS head plugged into the A socket. i have been able to use all shutter speeds on the a7r2 without using ods at all. automatic out of the box for me. all power settings work for me, just make sure you have the head plugged in to the A socket

A: I don't have an ELC Pro HD 1000. I suppose it should. I have Quadra, RX Style, and Digital RX Power Pack 2400 and it works with all of them (Nikon Version on D3X).

Q: 4. I shoot both Nikon and Fuji. I am only interested in the high-speed sync on the Nikons (and I don't need TTL on either system), so if I got the Nikon-compatible model for that purpose, could I use the same unit to simply fire the flash on a Fuji camera?

A: Yes you can fire the flash with Fuji camera and the trigger only manual

A: It will work to fire the light and adjust the power. It is not optimized for HSS and it will not do TTL.

Q: 6. How can I get my canon 5d III to sync at a speed above 1/200, while using the EL-Skyport? I tried it in store, and the camera won't fire above 1/200 sec. when the Skyport is in the hot shoe. I tried it in M and Av modes.

A: Setting up Hi-Sync mode for Canon cameras requires that you engage the Hi-Sync mode on the Skyport HS, like you would a Canon speedlight. To do this, press the button below Setup and then select SYNC Mode and choose HS Hi-Sync Mode.

Q: 7. Will an old Elinchrom Quadra A Head work with a Nikon D850 in TTL mode with this unit? In other words, can I set my Nikon to, say, 1/250 and f11, use a single Quadra head automatically, and have the exposure come out right? I already have the original skyport unit, and if I put it in the hot shoe of the D850, it fires my Quadra just fine , but only in manual. Im trying to decide if this unit will get a capability I dont already have.

A: No; these units do not have TTL flash metering.

A: My was Canon version but they are the same. It depends on the light you are using.If the other light have built in skyport receiver, you need only the one on your camera.
