Maserati HMX from Waves is a plug-in for use primarily on keyboards, but can also be used with other instruments. Two modes, Modal and Bounce, dictate which effects will be used where, with both featuring their own sets of controls.

Modal mode produces a wide soundscape for a piano for instance, with just the right amount of chorus effect to give it life on a vocal demo, or raise a Wurlitzer's presence on a track. Bounce mode adds a bit of reverb and delay, creating energy and movement for a ballad, or a lively feel for a full-band setting.

The plug-in includes both Native and SoundGrid licenses.

A: The Waves Titan-R SoundGrid Server DSP Unit (2 RU) will only process Waves plug-ins. This DSP processor cannot support third-party VST plug-ins.

A: EQ would be the main component in repairing noisy audio. Izotope RX5 is the recommended product for use in broadcast and post production. it is a full suite of noise reduction and audio correction tools. It can be used as a standalone software or as a plug in via a host DAW.

Q: 8. For the configuration of connecting "1/4" TRS in to XRL out", what is the pinout for the XRL connector? Does it use TRS L or R?

A: B&H sells adapters and cables like GPR101 or CPR202 that will let you connect your turntable to the Humbuster to the amp. You may also consider picking up 3-to-2 prong grounding adapters to see if that works. There are some turntables that have inherent hum due to build quality or wiring.
