Q: 2. Can I use the Hestia system on my own tripod?

A: The Vaonis Hestia Smartphone Telescope System can use any tripod that has a 3/8 stud. It is recommended to use a fluid head tripod.

Q: 3. I have a 60D and a sigma 24-70. Would this accommodate?

A: yes, but beware. The Glidecam requires a lot of practice to use properly..and you'd better have strong arm muscles.

Q: 4. Will this instrument work with a Sony FDR AX 100?

A: Yes

Q: 5. Is this compatable with a Galaxy S20 FE 5G?

A: Yes this this is compatible with Android 11 & Above.

Q: 6. does the gimbal move

A: If balanced properly the sled and post should remain level and plumb regardless of the handle position.

Q: 7. How big is the gimbal handle? I have a friend who has an off brand flycam galaxy arm and steadycam vest says it fits 16mm gimbal handle. I know I want to order the glidecam hd2000, but won't get the vest unless it fits the off brand one he can practically give me. Anyway, does anyone know what the gimbal handle size is and if it would work with a 16mm arm post?

A: The Glidecam HD2000 gimbal handle has a 7/8/0.875 /22.225mm hole. The post from the off brand arm would be 6.225 mm too small. That is not much so maybe it will still work. Your move.

Q: 8. Is it strong enough for a Canon 1D X??

A: Certainly strong enough. In general, prepare for a steep learning curve.

Q: 9. how to quick release camera?

A: Buying a quick release plate for your camera is a MUST. Attach the quick release plate to the stabilizer, and the camera to the quick release plate. I chose a plate based on what was compatible with my tripod-- otherwise you'll need to switch out which defeats the purpose of a QUICK release plate.

Q: 10. this was 1500 a week ago whats changed?

A: There has been no price change on this model recently. It has been the current price for at least a few weeks.
