The Tiffen 86mm Coarse Thread Pro-Mist 1/4 Filter helps to reduce the value of the highlights while noticeably lowering the overall contrast. This filter is especially useful for smoothing out and softening facial wrinkles and other blemishes. While designed for use with movies, this filter can also be used for fashion and beauty applications. Unlike a traditional diffusion or soft focus filter, Pro-Mist filters provide little loss of detail across the image. The 1/4 density provides more contrast and highlight reduction than the 1/8, but less than the 1/2, while also allowing for a soft, pastel-like quality of light.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting to precision metal rings.

Q: 1. What is this scanner's actual best resolution for medium format film?

A: It depends upon the size of the enlargement; 600 dpi is good for up to about 11 X 14, 2400 dpi can be used if you are making a poster.Hint: I use my V850 almost exclusively for large format film. The film guides that come with the scanner are awkward (at best); I don't use them for large format work. For medium and miniature format work I use an old Canon CanoScan 8800F (see ad, attached). It is smaller, cheaper, and the film guides work well for smaller film sizes.

Q: 2. I understand what the features states, but, has anyone been able to test this device with non-Sony cell phones, and if so, what were your results?

A: The Sony Vlog Monitor for Xperia PRO-I will only work with the For the Sony Xperia PRO-I Smartphone. Using other brands even other Sony phones such as the Xperia 5 II models have not worked for me.

Q: 3. Can you capture both HDMI video and analog audio at the same time?

A: Yep

Q: 4. Anyone using this card with premiere pro 2020? Any glitches with the latest BMD update? Thx 4 ur time

A: From the manufacturer. "Anytime a new version of an NLE is introduced there can be glitches, but as far as I know there are no issues to report. The Intensity Pro 4K should work well with any NLE or playback software."

Q: 5. Editing in Premiere CC 2015 with a 4k 30p timeline, an this 4K out using a HDMI cable with a display port male end to a 4K LG 27UD68-P monitor?

A: The Intensity Pro 4k is a capture and playback device, you would want to use it with a Broadcast Quality Monitor, not a computer monitor like the LG you mentioned. The advantage of a device like this is that it allows you to see what the image will look like on a Television, using it with a computer monitor will not yield the proper results. Instead you would want to look in to an option such as the Lilliput BM280-4K 4K Monitor, which is B&H #LIBM2804K.

Q: 6. works with premier cs6 or cc?

A: I have an Intensity Pro capture card, but it does Not show up in Premiere 5. I have to capture the video from Desktop Video, then the file size is huge! Then I import the file into Premiere and then Export it to the Microsoft AVI Format - which cuts down the file size of a 2-hour video from 312 GB to 26 GB. This works, but it is a pain to have to use 2 different programs, where I cannot Capture it directly into Adobe Premiere 5 (it only has DV Or HDV, it does Not have BlackMagic in the Capture Format list).

Q: 7. I have a 2009 Mac Pro 8 Core. Can I use this with my Sony A99V to live stream 1080P on facebook/youtube?

A: Of course, that's what it is for. It will take any input. Just make sure you use the correct encoding for 1080p.

Q: 8. Can this capture card be used to take a live video feed in to Unreal Engine?

A: No it can not. Neither Blackmagic or Unreal Engine list this as one of their compatible cards. The cards that are compatible are the DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G, DeckLink Duo 2, or the DeckLink 8K Pro

Q: 9. I need capture card who works with Arena software, this card is compatible?

A: A search of the Arena software requirements did not show restrictions as to cards.

Q: 10. According to your specs , I see the this card has 2 inputs ( one HDMI , the other component ) ... Can I capture via the 2 inputs simultaneousit?????

A: nope
