Q: 1. works with premier cs6 or cc?

A: I have an Intensity Pro capture card, but it does Not show up in Premiere 5. I have to capture the video from Desktop Video, then the file size is huge! Then I import the file into Premiere and then Export it to the Microsoft AVI Format - which cuts down the file size of a 2-hour video from 312 GB to 26 GB. This works, but it is a pain to have to use 2 different programs, where I cannot Capture it directly into Adobe Premiere 5 (it only has DV Or HDV, it does Not have BlackMagic in the Capture Format list).

Q: 2. Would this work with the Mac Pro 2019 ?

A: While I haven’t tried that specific configuration, there is absolutely no reason why it shouldn’t work. I have it working in an external thunderbolt cage plugged into my MacBook Pro and it works fine. I thunk there’s extremely little chance you’ll run into any problems. Don’t forget to download the driver software.

Q: 3. Can this capture card be used to take a live video feed in to Unreal Engine?

A: No it can not. Neither Blackmagic or Unreal Engine list this as one of their compatible cards. The cards that are compatible are the DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G, DeckLink Duo 2, or the DeckLink 8K Pro

A: As long as the computer is powerful enough and has the slots available you can install multiple cards. what do you mean by OBS?

A: The Intensity Pro 4k can only output a UHD resolution. If you are working with a 4000x2160 resolution file it will be down-scaled out of this I/O card.

A: Regarding using the Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro 4K with an external PCIe enclosure, Blackmagic does not test their hardware compatibility for such devices but they do say some may work. There are no recommendations available at this time.

Q: 8. Can this be used in an external Thunderbolt 3 enclosure? Also has anyone used this to capture output from a Nintendo Gamecube?

A: This records beautifully from a Gamecube, via Composite or S-Video. It cannot be used with an enclosure. It requires PCI Express 4 lane, compatible with 4, 8, 16 lane PCI Express slots on Mac OS X, Windows 7 and 8, and Linux.
