The tan E6 Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Highest Gain, with Detachable 1mm Cable and 3-Pin XLRM Connector for Lectrosonic Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one-tenth ounce. It is a water- and wind-resistant microphone that can be used on either ear for capturing audio in houses of worship, theater, or outdoor vocal and speech applications.
The low-profile, omnidirectional E6 Earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers forget they're wearing a mic. Three sensitivity options cover general speaking to extremely powerful vocals and four color options allow you to match the E6 to your skin tone for minimum visibility.
In addition, the E6 Earset features three omni caps (very bright +8 dB, bright +4 dB, and flat +0 dB) that deliver response characteristics for most other applications such as recording flute and violin. The E6 Earset is available as a directional microphone too with cardioid and hypercardioid caps. This omnidirectional E6 Earset's cable terminates to a 3-pin XLRM connector for direct connection to a Lectrosonic HM, UH200d, UH400, or UH400a wireless bodypack transmitter.

The Countryman E6 head-worn Earset is small and lightweight, and is hardly visible from a distance.
The E6 Earset's stainless steel boom is built tough and can be bent and re-bent many times to fit different performers. The E6 is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps.
The flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face and is available in multiple skin tones. Their protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones; caps for the directional earset adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid. Choose a sensitivity for speaking or singing with up to 140 dB SPL capability.
The E6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion and an SPL of up to 140 dB. It delivers rich, full band audio quality.
Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a position for rejecting unwanted sounds. Countryman's omnidirectional Earset offers a reduction of 12 dB compared to a lavalier mic, while the directional E6 Earset provides even more isolation. Excellent for houses of worship, theater, and outdoor events.
An E6 replacement cable installs in seconds. The snap-on cables are rugged and available for almost any wireless transmitter or for XLR inputs with phantom power.
For general speaking.

Q: 1. I own two Godox 850 Ving flashes that currently work for n manual only with my Fuji bodies. Will this transmitter turn them into TTL flashes, or would that require flashes that are already compatible with Fuji TTL?
A: You would need a light that is already ttl. As far as I know it needs to be a ttl fuji compatible in order to work like that.
Q: 2. how fast do the cartridges dry up. I am an on and off semi-pro photographer so the same would go for printing. printer might sit for 30 days unused then might spend half a day printing continuously. It would be dedicated to photo only I have a dell laser scanner printer for documents. I do take night shots and do dusk and dawn silhouettes so I am concerned about the halo effect expressed by another owner. Is there a different canon printer that doesn't have this issue? or should I be looking to another printer altogether?
A: I've found that I can let the print sit idle for well over 30 days with no hit of drying. After that I will print 15 photos and have no issues with the print quality at all.
Q: 3. Can this trigger and control the Godox AD600 pro?
A: Yes! The Godox R2 and R2 Pro triggers all work with the AD600 Pro and the Godox/Flashpoint ecosystem.
Q: 4. would this work with an Interfit badger unleashed flash head?
A: Yes. But the strobe must be driven in manual mode.
Q: 5. Hello! I have a Nikon D810 and a SB-700 (so far I have been working with the pop up flash in commander mode). I need a second flash unit and was considering the YN685. Does the YN685 work off camera on TTL mode when triggered by the pop-up flash of the Nikon D-810? Would I need a radio transmitter to control both flashes? In this case, can both flashes be set to TTL mode? Your answers would be very much appreciated!!! Thanks!
A: No the YN 685 wont fire with you built in flash. if you want to have your sb 700 and the yn685 working both off camera you will need a pair of these: https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1190877-REG/yongnuo_yn_622n_kit_yn_622n_i_ttl_wireless_transceiver.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1190877-REG/yongnuo_yn_622n_kit_yn_622n_i_ttl_wireless_transceiver.html/aas the yn685 already has the built in wireless.
Q: 6. Is this compatible with the the new canon 1D Xmii
A: hi Ken but I heard that yn 685 has inbuilt receivers. so why need 2 yn622c.
Q: 7. Hi,I want to ask if it is possible to use YN-685 on-camera to fire Nikon flash set on the YN-622N trigger (eg. on the light stand) so they fire simultaneously? Is that possible please?Thank youMario
A: Unfortunately, no, the setup you describe above would not work as you describe. The YN685 for Nikon does not directly provide any radio master functions as it only has a built-in radio receiver, not a transmitter or transceiver. As such, it may only be used wirelessly off-camera for radio triggering usage needs when a YN-622N-TX, YN-622N / II, YN560-TX, YN560IV, YN660 RF-605, or RF-603 II transmitters are used on the camera as a master transmitter. You may either connect an additional YN-622N transceiver on the camera's hot shoe (with the YN-685 on top of the unit) for your usage needs, or use one of the Nikon flashes on the YN-622N on the camera's hot shoe, and use the built-in radio in the YN-685 for use as your off-camera flash.
Q: 8. Will the SU-800 work with the SB-500? It is not listed.
A: According to the manual for the SB-500, the SU-800 can be used as a commander to fire it.
Q: 9. Will this trigger and the tt600 work wireless on a canon t7?
A: This transmitter can work on a T7.
Q: 10. I have SB-28 speed lights and I cannot get them to fire when mounted on the hot shoe of the X1-R. Is a sync cord the only option?
A: While Godox does not have a official list, from testing and trouble shooting we have come to the conclusion the the SB-28 is not compatible.
