The tan Countryman E6X Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 3.5mm locking Connector for Olympus, Roland, Sony, Tascam, Yamaha, or Zoom Portable Recorders is a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i earset that features a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom and is suitable for use when a few people will be using the same mic.

The E6X earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6X earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6X earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Olympus, Roland, Sony, Tascam, Yamaha, or Zoom DM-420, DM-520, DM-620, DS-2400, DS-40, DS-51, DS-61, DS-71, LS-10, LS-14, R05, R09HR, PCM-D50, PCM-M10, DR-05, DR-07mkII, DR-08, PR-10, Pocketrak C24, Pocketrak W24, H1, H2, and H2n portable recorders.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6 Flex or E6X offers a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i. With a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom, the E6 Flex is secure on the ear and fast to fit without compromising true invisibility and sound.

The E6X's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6X earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6X earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it scale hdmi inputs?

A: Yes it does.

Q: 2. Can I add an 8 channel audio mixer?

A: Using the MIDI or RCA input you can feed additional audio.

Q: 3. Can this device automatically switch between cameras by detecting sound from microphones? E.g. microphone no 1 can activate camera no 1 and etc.?

A: No, the Roland V-1HD+ Compact 4 x HDMI Video Switcher does not have any such feature.

Q: 4. I'm using a Canon XA10 (HDMI 1080P59.94) and two GoPros (1080P59.94) and a Ninja 2 as my recorder which needs to see 1080i59.94 ... will this switcher do that without extra scan converters in the mix?

A: Yes, the product will scale your footage and there is a switch that allows you to select the output, including 1080i.

Q: 5. I've bought this oneWhat is required for live streaming on youtube and others.I have 2 cameras sony nx - 100roland V1HDAtomos Ninja Bladewhether they require additional other devices ?

A: You still need a way to send everything to your CDN (which can be LiveStream, uStream, FaceBook, etc). I used the Blackmagic Mini Recorder and my MacBookPro running Wirecast. You can also use something like the Matrox Monarch HD. Either way, you need something that will take the audio/video from your switcher (HDMI) to your internet broadcast service.

Q: 6. Can you connect to your computer via the hdmi out instead of the usb?

A: The USB port on the switcher. is for Connecting a tablet and controlling the Switcher that way. If you need to plug a computer in to display something from your computer, you can do so only by plugging into the hdmi input of the Switcher. if your computer uses a USB to HDMI adapter to display to an external monitor, then yes you could plug your computer in to the HDMI input. Hope this helps- have a nice day!

Q: 7. Can I presume that this switcher would take Line Level in audio from an external mixer like a Shute FP stereo field mixer? To imbed all in an hdmi audio/video signal out?

A: It has a left right line level input on the back of the unit. They are unbalanced RCA inputs. It will imbed into the video out.

Q: 8. Can I use this equipment in live production?

A: This can be used for live production.

Q: 9. Good day! Is this product compatible with all NTSC camera for input line and NTSC projector for out put ? Pls advice ! Sorry Im begginers for this works!

A: Basically any NTSC with a HDMI input can go into the switcher. All inputs must be the same resolution/frame rate as it does not scale. As long as your projector will accept HDMI you should be fine on the output. Remember HDMI cables have a relatively short distance, if you need long runs you will need to get an HDMI extender, usually runs CAT6 between the transmitter and receiver. This is a great basic product that is very easy to setup and operate.

Q: 10. The MIX function can be set to "FAM" (accidentally) instead of "MIX". What does FAM stand for and what is its benefit?

A: Hi, FAM stands for "full additive mix" and means that there is no change in luminance when transitioning between video sources, meaning as you transition between video sources, each video source appears at its full intensity with no fading.

I have been an 35mm SLR user since 1964 and an Olympus digital SLR user since 2004. I have eight Oly digital lenses and this 14-35mm f2 lens is the ultimate. Output at all f-stops from 2 -11 at any focal length are spectacular. You will not notice too great a difference on a 4x6 print; but on an 11x14 and 13x19 prints you will notice, as they are phenomonal. Clarity and color accuracy are superb. I thought the 11-22mm lens was excellent; but this 14-35 lens is in a class by itself. Photos with great contrast are easily handled. Indoor low light photos are a piece of cake. Other reviews of this lens have criticized its low light focusing. When I tried the S-AF focus option on the E-3 in low to very low lighting, the focusing was definitely slow; BUT when I switched to C-AF focus option, the focus was dead on and immediate with all focusing and exposure options at all f-stops I tried. In other words, there is no focus problem when you use the camera properly. If you buy this lens, it will be on your camera 80-90% of the time, except when you are shooting wildlife, distance sports, etc. Then you can use Olympus' superb telephoto 50-200mm lens (100-400mm, 35mm equivalent)--couple it with the great Oly 2x extender for a 200-800mm, 35mm equivalent. Folks, don't believe all the negative comments about the small sensor used in the Olympus DSLRs -- when you can print fantastic 13x19 photos (and larger sizes, I'm sure, but 13x19 is the largest my Epson R1800 will print), why bother with a full frame Nikon or Canon beast, unless you'r a professional sports photog and money is no object. For the rest of the camera world, the Olypmus E-system with fabulous digital-specific lenses are way more than adequate. I can't say enough positive comments about this one-of-a-kind lens. You will not be disappointed with this lens.

Took it on my first trip to Zion and Bryce Canyons and to Antelope slot canyon and it performed better than expected, I could not be any happier. Each shot was crisp and very clear. The wide angle views were awsome.

I bought the lens for macro work and portraits and possibly for a walk-around lens in town. I use an Olympus E-410. It takes great portraits and is also a good walk-around lens in town settings. The pictures are very sharp and the color fidelity outstanding. Edge to edge sharpness is excellent from about F4.0 on up through F11.0. Macro use reveals a very shallow depth of field at close distances. So I have a few excellent results and more fuzzy ones. I am still experimenting with that but have found it easy to miss the item I'm most interested in. I think the solution will lie in using a tripod! Also the E-410 is not image stabilized which contributes.

Simply superb... and a great upgrade from the supplied kit lens. Pictures from the kit lenses with my E-510 were (I thought) good, until I used the 50-200 zoom. A little heavy, but can't complain since it is a mega-zoom after all, auto-focus is lightning fast. Can't wait to splurge and connect it to the E3.

This is the lens why I bought a Olympus DSLR. It is impressive: the quality of the optics, the sheer size and weight. The lens has almost no barrel-distortion, quite a feat. I use it mainly for architectural shots, but it is great for landscapes and cities aswell. Just take a little care when using the lens, the front element stiks out quite a bit and can be scrathed if not carefull enough. The same applies when putting the lens onto the camera. Would I recommend this to a friend ? Yes if he is a real good friend, otherwise I would like this to be my secret. Overall: a super design.
