Better than than the Bose Quiet Comfort for noise cancelling. With 3 dogs and an early bird spouse, these have saved my sanity!

I bought this for black Friday, sadly no sale, however, I am very happy with this purchase, the noise canceling is OUT OF THIS WORLD, you cannot hear anything if music is playing, and sound quality is to die for, I never take them off, and they simply disappear on my head. One issue, however, is I find at random, the left earcup cancels less noise than the right, and also randomly the left earcup's sound is less and off balance to the right, however, I am in the process of getting support to fix this issue. Highly recommended, buy these headphones you will not be sorry.

I usually never write reviews. But when I put these on the first time and started using these as my daily headphones I had to write a review. It's hard to say my opinion because these headphones speak for themselves. The build is amazing, super light, quality materials, and fabulous battery life. Sometimes I find my self forgetting that I'm wearing them when listening to audio. I utilize these for music, podcast, phone calls, and videos. All amazing quality of audio that I am receiving.

I looked at all of the YouTube videos and read a ton of reviews. Decided to pull the trigger and...WOW !!! These headphones are the most amazing pair I've ever owned. From the features to the sound quality, boy do they deliver. Too many features to pick a favorite because I love, love, love them all and they are so easy to use. The sound is on another level. The bass is awesome and blends perfectly with the mids and highs. And did I mention the fully customizable app ?!?! The presets for music are absolutely perfect for any listening taste. The app also lets you customize other features of the headphones as well. I am so in love with these cans, I can hardly stand it. ANC is the best too... They are pricey, but well worth every penny. AWESOME JOB SONY !!!

I've read a ton of reviews in my search for some good NC bluetooth headphones, and these kept coming up. I gave them a listen in the airport gadget shop and they indeed sounded better that the others I tried, like the new BOSE headphones. But honestly, I was blown away when I turned them on in the airplane. Wow! Seriously, mind blown.

We need2recognize these r a pair of ANC headphones&that is what I’m rating,not high-def headset that uses data dense file.Dont know why1would purchase a hi-res player & headset.Cost a fortune&if u listen2ur music on the go, subway trains, street c horns, buses, wind etc r all going2be interfering c ur listening pleasure - thus ANC.If I want2really listen2music I sit down,relax&listen2my surround sound system at home, which is a heck of alot better than any hi-res headphone.

Back2 MX3. ANC on MX3 blows away Bose QC 35, which I used4past 3 yrs until I broke them & Im glad I did. I used QC 35s everywhere. I can only comment on the street, supermarket, my kitchen c the cooktop exhaust hood going & NYC Q subway train. Intimately knowing how the QC35s performed in those settings I can tell u the MX3s seriously outperform. I find the XM3 more comfortable. 30 hrs of play time is very nice, & 5 min charge = 5hrs, will come in handy when I travel. Sound quality? Initially I found it pretty good, but was a little disappointed. Then I watched a you-tube video on how2tweak sound&woe, dramatic improvement2point of serious listening pleasure.

The bad. I really don’t like “buttons”, but more I use them better I’m getting. If I take XM3 off & hang headset around my neck, “buttons” r accidently being hit by my chin turning music on, siri on etc. Price? Well we’d all like2spend less,but they’re better than so called best ANC headset on market&the same price. u r getting what u paid for.

Believe the reviews you see on these headphones. Experts and consumers alike are all right about the excellence of these headphones. I research my purchases and buy carefully so I wasn't at all surprised that these exceeded my expectations.

I work in an open office, which can be quite noisy at times. These headphones are excellent at wrapping you in a cocoon of silence, isolating you from the outside world. If you prefer some engagement with your environment, you can dial-in your preferred level of noise cancellation with the app.

Noise cancellation aside, sound replication is superb. I find the clarity, range of sound, and amount of balancing to be great for music and conference calls. Conference calls take on a whole new dimension when you experience communication in the isolation of silence. People on the receiving end of my phone calls have expressed that my voice is crystal clear.

The comfort is second to none. They aren't light, but you will likely forget they are on your head. The arch is padded well to dissipate pressure on top of your head and the ear cups are as soft as a pillow.

I can use these for the better part of the work week without recharging.

I have high hopes for these headphones. Kudos to Sony's engineers for building a truly exceptional product. I will be disappointed if these do not last 10 years.
