The Countryman E6s Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation. The compact size and placement just in front of the ear make this microphone particularly well-suited for intimate theater and broadcast applications, or any use where low mic visibility is a key factor.

The omnidirectional pickup pattern provides a generous and forgiving pickup area around the perimeter of the capsule, while the stainless steel construction stands up to daily use, makeup, and sweat. The mic also comes with 3 different interchangeable caps that let you choose between a flat, bright, or very bright frequency response.

This version of the E6s is tan and comes with a 2mm diameter Duramax cable. It terminates to a 4-pin Hirose connector for use with specific* Audio-Technica wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this have built in automatic focus bracketing?

A: No. The A7IV does not have built in automatic focus bracketing.

Q: 2. Can I use the same USB C cable that came with my Canon EOS R8 to transfer photos to a Macbook Pro?

A: The Sony a7 IV Mirrorless Camera comes with a USB Type-C to Type-A cable, and all MacBook Pros after 2016 don't have a USB-A port, so either you have to use a USB-A to USB-C adapter or you get a USB-C male to USB-C male cable. You can find the options here: https://bhpho.to/4d8tUe2.

Q: 3. Would this fit a camera cage design for the A7Siii?

A: The physical design isn't exactly the same between the two cameras, so it's unlikely that a cage built specifically for the a7S III will be a perfect fit for the a7 IV.

Q: 4. What is the resolution of APS-C mode for stills?

A: Sony gives the figure as 4608 x 3072-pixels (about 14.1MP) when shooting with an APS-C crop in the 3:2 aspect ratio.

Q: 5. What is the resolution the crop 4K 60 is downsampled from? Some YouTubers say its 5.9K, some say 4.6K; some say it's 22mp and others say 14mp. Which is it???

A: I contacted Sony concerning your inquiry. According to Sony, the video from the Sony Alpha a7 IV Mirrorless Camera is oversampled, not downsampled. However, they did not indicate a resolution from which the video is oversampled.

Q: 6. Does this camera have a low pass filter?

A: No, the Sony a7 IV does not have a low-pass filter.

Q: 7. Does this Camera write to SSD like the Samsung T7

A: No, saving is only possible to internal memory cards or external recorders, such as an Atomos Ninja V.

Q: 8. I am trying to connect a7iv to a mixpre 3 ii? what is the best way to do this to record onto both camera and mixpre sd card?

A: The Sound Devices MixPre-3 II 3-Channel / 5-Track Multitrack 32-Bit Field Recorder has a 3.5mm Stereo Out connection, which could be used to make a hardwired connection to the 3.5mm input on the Sony a7 IV Mirrorless Camera via a standard, stereo 3.5mm cable. Alternatively, with the appropriate cable, this same output connection could feed a wireless transmitter typically used for lavaliers while the correlating receiver mounts onto the camera, receives signal from the transmitter, and inputs it into the camera for a "wireless camera send".

Q: 9. Does this camera have an electronic shutter? And does it have Bulb mode in electronic shutter? and what is the shutter speeds for the electronic shutter?

A: Yes. Unit offers a fully electronic shutter.

Q: 10. What color is the focusing spot? I am thinking of trading in my A7iii because the focusing spot is grey and difficult to see.

A: With the IV you can change the color of the dots. For the a7 III you can also update to version 3 of the firmware to allow you to change the color of these dots.
