The light beige Countryman E6i Directional Earset Mic, Medium Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 6-pin Hirose Connector for Samson Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6i earset's cable terminates to a 6-pin Hirose connector for direct connection to Samson BT3, CT2, TX4, and UT4 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Do these strobes have rear curtain sync?

A: Rear curtain sync can be used on the AD300 Pro, but that would be dependent on the camera model and the X Series transmitter being used to fire it.

Q: 2. What is a good portable power supply for this unit?

A: The Interfit Nomad Portable Battery Pack, BH # INNOM100 would be suitable to power the Godox QT400 IIIM Flash Head on the go. https://bhpho.to/30FTOBi

Q: 3. If the battery is left attached for a while, is there a slow drain of the battery even if unit is off? I have version 1 of this light and it will empty my battery slowly even while off.

A: Lithium deteriorates over time loosing charge and its ability to hold a charge.

Q: 4. Which SPECIFIC batteries do you need to power this?

A: You need only to use batteries that are Sony NP-F9XX configuration. Therefore you can use any Sony or 3rd party like Watson just as long as they are of the Sony NP-F9XX type. Here are two examples. I suggest the largest size to maximize the light's run time. Sony NP-F970 L-Series Info-Lithium Battery Pack (6300mAh) B&H # SONPF970. Watson NP-F975 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.4V, 7800mAh) B&H # WANPF975. I recommend the high quality Sony if you can budget it. If not, the Watson will serve you well.

Q: 5. Will this Trigger work with Lumix S5 and S5II cameras?

A: The trigger in the Godox SK400II-V Studio Flash Monolight (2-Light Kit) is manual and should work fine in the Lumix S5 and S5II cameras. It only uses the center pin in the hotshoe of the camera.

Q: 6. Will this work with Nikon z7 II camera?

A: Yes, the Godox MS200-V Studio Flash Monolight (3-Light Kit) will work with the Nikon Z7 ii camera. The strobes are manual. So, they do not support TTL.

Q: 7. Wha is the difference between this one and the one without the V?

A: The only difference between the new new Godox MS200-V 200Ws Studio Flash, B&H # GOMS200V, and the original Godox MS200 Monolight, B&H # GOMS200, is the older MS200 has a 150W halogen modeling lamp, whereas the MS200-V uses a 10W LED modeling lamp which is brighter than the 150W modeling lamp. Otherwise, the units would be the same in terms of features and performance.

Q: 8. Is this light set a Browne mount

A: I'm not familiar with Browne mount, but if you mean Bowen mount then -yes, the light and the soft-boxes in this kit are Bowens S Accessory Mount.

Q: 9. I cannot figure out how to connect the MS300 to the light stand. The light connection is round. Stand is screw-on adapter.

A: The post on the stand goes into the female receiver on the light. With this light you do not use the screw on the top of the stand. The light just goes on the post over the screw and down onto the larger post.

Q: 10. Is there a dome or cover I can buy to protect the bare bulb while using the flash? I’m not looking for anything special, just safety -covering the hot bulb and protection from random hits.

A: Unfortunately, Godox did not make anything to mount on the Godox SK400II-V Studio Flash Monolight like a protective glass dome; at this moment, that is the reason why no accessories exist for bulb protection of this light.
