The light beige Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 2mm Cable and 3.5mm Connector for Comtek Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.
The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.
The low-profile, omnidirectional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6i earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm connector for direct connection to Comtek M-72 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.
The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.
The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.
The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)
Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.
The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Is it compatible with Sony A7III?
A: The Godox SK400II-V Studio Flash Monolight (2-Light Kit) is a manual strobe and is compatible with the A7III camera.
Q: 2. What is the replacement power cable for the Godox SK400II-V? I understand it's quite long.
A: Any C13 AC cable can be used to power the Godox SK400II-V Studio Flash Monolight. Some options for this cable can be found here: https://bhpho.to/3zX2t8W.
Q: 3. How is it compare to Apurture MC? Is it brighter, for example.
A: Stated by the manufacturers, the SmallRig PIX M160 produces 125 footcandles at 1 meter away whereas the Aputure MC produces 9.29 foot candles at 1 meter away.
Q: 4. What is the max height for the light stands? I can't seem to find that info in the specs.
A: The stands that are included in the Godox QT400IIIM Studio Flash Monolight (3-Light Kit) are the Godox 260T Air-Cushioned Light Stands (BH #GO260T), which can reach a maximum height of eight and a half feet.
Q: 5. I cannot figure out how to connect the MS300 to the light stand. The light connection is round. Stand is screw-on adapter.
A: The post on the stand goes into the female receiver on the light. With this light you do not use the screw on the top of the stand. The light just goes on the post over the screw and down onto the larger post.
Q: 6. Are the fans noisy or would they be silent enough for interviews in a small studio?
A: It is our understanding that the fan built into this LED panel is quiet enough for shooting video.
Q: 7. Sync type includes cable but cannot see where a cable would connect?
A: The following cable connects under the enclosure of the strobe unit.
Q: 8. Does this pack also come with a Air Remote trigger? I read elsewhere that it does but don't see it listed
A: No it does not include an Air Remote
Q: 9. As long as I understand, there are two Profoto speedring mount. This light what speedring uses?
A: Profoto only has one type of mount for their studio strobe lights; the side that mounts to the light fixture is identical. However, they have different speedrings depending on the light modifier you are using and on the light fixture you own. The difference is the rod connection used for the speedrings, and the type of softbox you will use on the light fixture. The Profoto B1X 500 AirTTL OCF Monolight is considered both a studio monolight and a part of Profoto's OCF (Off-Camera Flash) system. As such, you may use their Profoto RFi Speed Ring for Profoto Flash Heads, B&H # PRSRP, when using Profoto light modifiers with "RFi" in the name, or you may use the Profoto Speed Ring for OCF Flash Heads, B&H # PROCFSR, with Profoto's OCF flash modifiers with "OCF" in the name. If you are using a third-party universal softbox, I would recommend the Impact Speed Ring for Profoto, B&H # IMSRPRO, for your usage needs.
Q: 10. Is this compatible with the Sony A7IV?
A: Yes, the Godox SK400II-V Studio Flash Monolight (2-Light Kit) is compatible with the Sony A7IV. It comes with a universal radio trigger with a single pin on the hotshoe for manual triggering of the flash units.
