The black Countryman E6X Directional Earset Mic, Standard Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and TA3F Connector for Audix Wireless Transmitters is a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i earset that features a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom and is suitable for use when a few people will be using the same mic.

The E6X earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6X earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6X earset's cable terminates to a TA3F connector for direct connection to Audix RAD360-BP wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6 Flex or E6X offers a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i. With a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom, the E6 Flex is secure on the ear and fast to fit without compromising true invisibility and sound.

The E6X's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6X earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6X earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this work with Godox X pro?

A: This unit like the Godox X Pro is a transmitter, so they cannot work together. One of those units can only trigger an X1R-S receiver attach to a Sony compatible flash.

Q: 2. Can you use two of these (one on camera and one handheld) to trigger the shutter and flashes remotely?

A: It can not. You would need a shutter release https://bhpho.to/31oCSze.

Q: 3. Can I use the X1N trigger as Commander to 2 SB-900s & an SB-500? Or would I have to trigger one of them to trigger the other 2? But then that would be a manual setting for each?

A: When I shot with Nikons, I had several SB900's. It is my understanding that they are optically triggered. The sensor is on the right side of the unit viewed from the back. The x1N is a RF unit. It does not have an optical output. If you wanted to operate the SB's, there is a receiver that can accomodate the SB's and that would allow the X1N to operate them. The real advantage to doing that would be the operating distance goes out to about 300 feet. So, putting the flash behind the subject would work well, when using the optical trigger would be difficult. Hope this helps.

Q: 4. Will this allow me to use my Speedlite 470ex-ai wirelessly one my softbox off camera?

A: Yes this will allow you to use a Canon 470EX-AI off camera.

Q: 5. Is it compatible with Nikon Df?

A: It should. The specs for the Df show that it supports Nikon iTTL flash and I noticed that Nikon Speed lights are recommended accessories. So the YN685 should be compatible.

Q: 6. I have a Nikon D700 & and SB700 speed light flash. Will this work with this camera flash combination?

A: Yes, you would put the 700s on the remote function (the one on the on switch wheel) and the SU800 would act as the master.

Q: 7. Anyone know if this will work with the II by YONGNUO, without a receiver? Both have wireless radio transmission, but not sure if it's the same tech.

A: This transmitter can only fire flashes with a X1R receiver attached to it or Godox flashes which have the same X series receiver built it.

Q: 8. Can this trigger a studio strobe (understand I need to set the power on the studio head) if I use it with the xproN?

A: you can but you need to connect strobe with receiver with a cable ( same way as Packet Wizard work with a strobe )

Q: 9. Can I use one piece of Yn-685 as a master to fire another slave Yn-685?

A: Unfortunately this flash is just a slave. You can purchase a transmitter, like the Yongnuo YN-622N, YN-622N-TX, YN560-TX, RF-605, RF-603 III, and RF-603 or you can use a YN560 flash on camera to trigger the 685.

Q: 10. So, I have the newer Pro trigger but I also have a Sony TTL flash - can I use this trigger as a receiver (since it has a hotshoe on top)?

A: No , You need Godox X1R-S to use as a receiver
