The tan Countryman E6X Directional Earset Mic, Standard Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 3.5mm locking Connector for Olympus, Roland, Sony, Tascam, Yamaha, or Zoom Portable Recorders is a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i earset that features a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom and is suitable for use when a few people will be using the same mic.

The E6X earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6X earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6X earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Olympus, Roland, Sony, Tascam, Yamaha, or Zoom DM-420, DM-520, DM-620, DS-2400, DS-40, DS-51, DS-61, DS-71, LS-10, LS-14, R05, R09HR, PCM-D50, PCM-M10, DR-05, DR-07mkII, DR-08, PR-10, Pocketrak C24, Pocketrak W24, H1, H2, and H2n portable recorders.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6 Flex or E6X offers a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i. With a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom, the E6 Flex is secure on the ear and fast to fit without compromising true invisibility and sound.

The E6X's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6X earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6X earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this switcher work with a PAL camera. Specifically I want to use this with three Sony HXR-MC2500E for live events. Has anyone tried this mixer with the camera?

A: Yes, the Roland V-1HD is both PAL and NTSC. You can set the HXR-MC2500E (B&H #SOHXRMC2500E) to 1080i50 for it to work with this switcher.

Q: 2. is it compatable withe panasonic gh4

A: No, the Olympus 90-250mm f/2.8 ED Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens would not directly fit onto the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4 MIrrorless Digital Camera. The camera has a Micro Four Thirds lens mount, while the lens has the larger (standard) Four Thirds lens mount. To use the lens on the camera, you would have to purchase the Olympus MMF-3 Four Thirds Lens to Micro Four Thirds Lens Mount Adapter, B&H # OLMMF3.

Q: 3. Hi does it work also as a hdmi capture device or would i need one? i use it for live streaming on youtube. If i would like to live stream with two hdmi camera does this device do the job and if my capture card has only got one hdmi imput will it be able to support the roland swithcher in doing the job? Does it work with OBS? thank you

A: The Roland V-1HD does not have any streaming capabilities built-in. However you can connect one of the HDMI outputs to a capture device for streaming to OBS. The Magewell XI100DUSB HDMI USB 3.0 Capture Dongle, which is B&H # MA100USBHDMI , is compatible with OBS and would be a great choice to pair with this switcher for live streaming. You will be able to connect two HDMI cameras to the switcher and then the switcher to the Magewell for streaming.

Q: 4. would this lens fit a Lumix G1?

A: The Olympus 40-150mm f/4-5.6 will fit on a Lumix G1 with the use of the Olympus MMF-3 Four Thirds to Micro Four Thirds adapter: http://bhpho.to/1hOo8Og

Q: 5. Will the V1 accept a HDMI signal from Panasonic HDC-TM700? I see 35' as a length for HDMI cables I tried on the Black Magic and it would't accept any HDMI signal from the Panasonic TM700 over 12'. That being the case I returned it since it didn't state that condition.

A: Generally speaking, an HDMI signal is not strong and weakens exponentially with distance traveled. I would blame the distance and the type of HDMI cable before any switcher. If indeed the switcher is not accepting the signal another does, I would still suggest getting a better cable. HDMI signals peter out 30-35' so if you are anywhere near that, you need HDMI cabling with booster circuitry. Please follow the link for a selection of longer distance HDMI cables. http://bhpho.to/1LRl5rv

Q: 6. Will this lense work on my Olympus E-5 camera? I have a 40-150mm basic lense and I need to upgrade to one that will film better under the lights at a football game with a lot of action shots.

A: Yes, the Olympus 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 lens for Olympus Digital Cameras is compatible with the Olympus E-5.

Q: 7. Is this lens full compatible with the new Olympus omd em5 Mark II? Or does it need an adapter. Is it as good as the 12-40mm 2.8?

A: When I first bought my OMD EM1, in December 2013, I bought the 12-60. It's an ideal range (though I wish it had more tele.) It's a lens for the E series dSLR, with optical view finder and as such is quite large. It requires an adapter for the OMD series, but is otherwise fully compatible. At the time, it had sluggish auto focus, though I think a recent firmware update fixed the issue. That coupled with its size and the fact that it is no longer in production motivated me to send it back. Now, I'm carrying two bodies: one with the 12-40 f/2.8, which is stellar and another with the Lumix 35-100 f/2.8. Compared to the Nikons I used to own, this rig is smaller, lighter and a great combination for the style of shooting I do.I would highly recommend the 12-40 f/2.8.

Q: 8. Will this lens fit on my Olympus E-510?

A: Yes it does. I have a 510 with this lens and get great pictures with it.

Q: 9. In the PIP effect, do you have control over the size of the window and location and also can you crop the horizontal or vertical of the video window?

A: Hi. I love this unit. Regarding your question - I don't think you can control the size, but you can control the location. You can also set the size and color of the video window

Q: 10. How do you mix the audio? If I have 3 HDSDI signals coming in and RCA L/R from an external mixer How do I control the levels?

A: You will be able to mix the audio from the video inputs and the RCA audio inputs using the V-1SDI RCS dedicated computer software that comes with this product. The software allows you to connect the V-1SDI to either a Mac or PC through a USB cable. From there you will be able to control the switcher and you'll be given a digital mixing board for the audio.

I have only had this lens a few days, but the results are amazing. I do wedding and event photography, and needed something with some more reach than what I had. The pictures are crystal clear, and, when mounted on the E-30 with the vertical grip, it balances very nicely. The only drawback that I have right now is that when operating the focus ring, there is no audible stop. Something I have gotten used to with Sigma lenses. By the way, I chose this over the Sigma 70-200 because of all the reviews that I read talked about slight image degradation at 200mm. I also am not too excited about the lens extending to zoom, but, for the price, you get a 100-400mm!!! Whats not to love!!!

Could not pass this lens up for the sale price recently. Arrived last Friday and I was blown away by the build of this lens. I honestly expected a short step up from the kit telephoto but this lens truly is well made. I have only been able to take a few indoor shots with my flash but am thrilled with how sharp it is. Excellent value. Is there a better lens for the price? I doubt it.

Worth every nickel. Durable, fast focus. End result is a clean shot. The Bokeh is really nice in my opinion. Probably have to pry this lens out of my hands!

I bought this lens because I wanted a wider lens with more reach. Zoom range from superwide @ 12mm to mid range telephoto @ 60 mm (24-120mm in 35mm film terms) - Fast focus (SWD), sharp images The wide-angle is perfect for the cityscapes I photograph; and the sharp images it produces are real winners. I highly recommend. The 12-60 zoom range is the ideal range for me and I truly appreciate the 12mm setting for those cramped quarters situations. Performance is exemplary. No noticeable linear or color distortion nor dark corners at any setting. This is the perfect lens to leave on your camera. The lens has an extremely usable focal range which pretty much eliminates the need for any other lens if you're a casual shooter. The AF fast and silent even on the E-510. Contrast and colors are excellent and will never disappoint. I really like the 12-60mm lens... A fine piece of equipment. Not that expensive for what it offers.

I use this lens on a lot of landscape photography. I also shoot regularly from helicopters, both air to air shots of aircraft as well as landscapes. This lens works great. It is easy to change out and of solid construction. I haven't found any flaws with it in the two years that I have been using it. I also use it for night photography which works great! I use this lens with a Leica Digilux 3.

I bought this lens about 2 years ago and haven't regretted it. VERY sharp at F2 and WOW sharp from F2.5-F8. I get the impression that the lens can resolve greater detail than the sensor can handle. I have a 10 megapixel camera and have printed take sharp 8x10's using only a portion of the whole image. The focus is a little slow and the lens to subject distance is close but other than that it is a great lens for the money.

I have an E-510 with the 2 lens kit. Recently added the 12-60mm lens as an upgrade for my always on the camera lens. Then decided to get the 70-300mm when B&H had it on sale before X-mas 2009 for $ I have used the 70-300mm for sunny day long range shooting with very nice results. On 01/01/10, I used the 70-300 on a tripod to take shots of the full moon in Texas. The moon shots came out so clear that my friends don't believe that I took them. The lens does have some slow focus issues in low light, but for less than *, it is a steal. If you want to spend $5-10K, you can get a lower f-stop better lens. This 70-300 is made in Japan and is a quality product. This is a nice addition to my kit.

Ofcourse, the Lens makes lot of sound while AutoFocussing, but it doesnt really annoy me. It just makes me admire what its attempting. In my hand, I took pictures @300mm focus - No blurr what so ever, till now. I am extremely happy with my purchase.
