The tan Countryman E6X Directional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 3.5mm locking Connector for Olympus, Roland, Sony, Tascam, Yamaha, or Zoom Portable Recorders is a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i earset that features a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom and is suitable for use when a few people will be using the same mic.

The E6X earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6X earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6X earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Olympus, Roland, Sony, Tascam, Yamaha, or Zoom DM-420, DM-520, DM-620, DS-2400, DS-40, DS-51, DS-61, DS-71, LS-10, LS-14, R05, R09HR, PCM-D50, PCM-M10, DR-05, DR-07mkII, DR-08, PR-10, Pocketrak C24, Pocketrak W24, H1, H2, and H2n portable recorders.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6 Flex or E6X offers a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i. With a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom, the E6 Flex is secure on the ear and fast to fit without compromising true invisibility and sound.

The E6X's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6X earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6X earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Using two hdmi inputs can the child picture be altered in size and be moved to any desired position on the maim picture?

A: You will be able to adjust the position of the smaller image on the screen when using Picture-In-Picture Mode. You will also be able to change the color and the width of the border around the smaller image, however you will not be able to change the size of the smaller image itself.

Q: 2. Can it be used with analog signal cameras and live DVD recoders? We are planing to buy this unit, input signals are from two Analog (PAL) camera (Sony DSR-PD170p)conected through the BMD Analog to SDI (#BLMCONHDASDI)Then connecting the Final SDI output of this unit through BMD SDI to Analog (#BLSDIAMC)to a live DVD Recoder. Will this combination work on a live setup? We are planning to shift to SDI cameras in the future

A: Unfortunately the V-1SDI is an HD format only switcher. To input an analog signal you would have to use a signal converter for each signal. The Roland V-40HD does support Analog and HD sources.

Q: 3. is it compatable withe panasonic gh4

A: No, the Olympus 90-250mm f/2.8 ED Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens would not directly fit onto the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4 MIrrorless Digital Camera. The camera has a Micro Four Thirds lens mount, while the lens has the larger (standard) Four Thirds lens mount. To use the lens on the camera, you would have to purchase the Olympus MMF-3 Four Thirds Lens to Micro Four Thirds Lens Mount Adapter, B&H # OLMMF3.

Q: 4. Will this Olympus lens fit a canon rebel t5?

A: Not directly. You would need to also purchase an adapter for a four-thirds lens to the Canon EF camera. I have no experience with the combination, but I suspect that it won't be optimal.

Q: 5. Will the device take 60p frame rate inputs?

A: Yes it will. The Roland V-1HD accepts frame rates of 59.94 fps at 1080p, 1080i and 720p resolutions.

Q: 6. Is this lens full compatible with the new Olympus omd em5 Mark II? Or does it need an adapter. Is it as good as the 12-40mm 2.8?

A: When I first bought my OMD EM1, in December 2013, I bought the 12-60. It's an ideal range (though I wish it had more tele.) It's a lens for the E series dSLR, with optical view finder and as such is quite large. It requires an adapter for the OMD series, but is otherwise fully compatible. At the time, it had sluggish auto focus, though I think a recent firmware update fixed the issue. That coupled with its size and the fact that it is no longer in production motivated me to send it back. Now, I'm carrying two bodies: one with the 12-40 f/2.8, which is stellar and another with the Lumix 35-100 f/2.8. Compared to the Nikons I used to own, this rig is smaller, lighter and a great combination for the style of shooting I do.I would highly recommend the 12-40 f/2.8.

Q: 7. Will this lens fit on my panasonic lumix gh4? Because i already have the camera and the lens and it doesn't fit

A: This lens is designed for Four Thirds cameras rather than Micro Four Thirds and will not be compatible with the GH4 without the use of an adapter.

Q: 8. I know the preview screen has a split screen mode, but does the output as well? As in can I switch from showing one source, to all 4 at once if I wanted?

A: The Preview Output can be set as a Multi-View window which allows you to see all 4 of your sources. You cannot do the same for all 4 HDMI signals through its program out I'm afraid. However this unit does allow you to output 2 sources through its Picture-in-Picture and Split Screen Modes.

Q: 9. Does this unit also requires 50fps to 60fps 1080p over SDI ?

A: This unit can handle either 50FPS or 59.94 but not both at the same time nor can it do signal conversion on the fly.

Q: 10. Good day ! How long ROLAND V-HD POrtable switcher safely operates before its overheat and stop working ?

A: I can use mine for the whole day at 1080, all inputs with no issues

Very glad I opted to get the 9-18mm. I already owned the legendary 11-22mm lens, and decided to get this one as well. Very well corrected distortion. Little chromatic aberration, and quite sharp in the corners. Keep it around f/5.6 for sharpest output. Gets softer at smaller apertures. Very portable and light and takes filters, which is why I didn't get the 7-14mm. Great value for the money. I will use this one for interiors and panoramas.

Bought at B&H, I use it with E-3 mainly for animals and people. Incredibile bokeh but always sharp in focus. You will set to f2 anytime, however @ f2.2 reach the maximum. In medium range the focus is fast, a little bit slower when the subject is close. It is the only existing lens for an equivalent 300m @f2. When you think about this, you understand that it is also incredibily compact and not so heavy.

I use the 50-200 for numerous things; portraits, sports, birding. For me I am yet to find issue with anything this lens offers. It is razor sharp through every focal length and every aperture and creates some of the most stunning images I've seen. This lens really brings out the best of the E3 and allows the body to really stretch it's resolving power to the limit.

Very clear pictures, focuses quickly in bright light. Will search some for focus, but does a fine job.

This lens has produced some beautiful portraits, and is a fantastic macro lens for the price. I love that the 50mm on the 4/3 system gives me an effective 100mm focal length. A little slow on focusing in low light portraits of the grandkids, otherwise it's great.

I've now had this lens for several months & love it. I use it on my E-410 and my E-1. It takes great pictures & is extremely versatile. I solved the lens cap problem by digging into my Olympus Pen FT collection and using the aluminum, slide-on, 43mm lens cap from the 38mm f1.8 lens. It works great, looks cool & lends a nostalgic quality from the camera that popularized the original pancake lens for Olympus!! But good luck finding one for yourself.

This lens is a great lens for the price. If you can buy it in the bundle do it because you will be satisfied. Strong and well built and great for close ups and portrait shots. I also use it for landscapes.

I bought an Olympus E-500 a few years ago with a kit quality Zuiko 14-45mm f3.5-5.6 lens. Pedestrian at best. But making the grade into the world of DSLR cameras from the point and shoot 1 megapixel world made that stock lens just fine. After a while, though, I found it just didn't give me the crisp clear performance of the OM-1 Zuiko lenses of my film days. I chose this 50mm (100mm equiv to 35mm days) lens to fill the need for product photography for online auctioning, and general portraiture. When I looked through the viewfinder, I was astounded by the difference in the clarity between it, and the slow stock lens. The manual focus is a smooth as my old OM Zuiko lenses. The only analogy the pops into my mind for comparison is like going from standard TV to HDTV. If you are ready to step it up and take some photographs and not just snapshots, I recommend this lens. The macro capability is a real plus. Don't forget the filter.
