The black Countryman E6X Directional Earset Mic, Medium Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 3.5mm locking Connector for Olympus, Roland, Sony, Tascam, Yamaha, or Zoom Portable Recorders is a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i earset that features a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom and is suitable for use when a few people will be using the same mic.

The E6X earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6X earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6X earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Olympus, Roland, Sony, Tascam, Yamaha, or Zoom DM-420, DM-520, DM-620, DS-2400, DS-40, DS-51, DS-61, DS-71, LS-10, LS-14, R05, R09HR, PCM-D50, PCM-M10, DR-05, DR-07mkII, DR-08, PR-10, Pocketrak C24, Pocketrak W24, H1, H2, and H2n portable recorders.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6 Flex or E6X offers a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i. With a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom, the E6 Flex is secure on the ear and fast to fit without compromising true invisibility and sound.

The E6X's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6X earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6X earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Q: 1. Do you know of an adapter that would allow me to use this lens on the Panasonic AF100 camcorder? It has a Micro 4/3's mount. Thanks, John

A: We carry two adapters that would allow you to mount four thirds lenses on a micro four thirds camera. http://bhpho.to/1kX9jYb

Q: 2. Does continuous auto-focus work well with this lens on a Panasonic GH4? Thank you.

A: Yes, works very well.

Q: 3. Will this lens work with a Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II?

A: Yes, I have both the camera and lens. It is a great combination which I used for street/architectural photography recently on a trip to various European cities.

Q: 4. Does this lens has a clicked manual focus as Ive seen o na youtube video or thats an older version?

A: Yes, you can switch from auto focus to manual by pulling the lens ring towards the camera. It's a nice lens.

Q: 5. Does the autofocus work well in this lens?

A: Yes, the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2 Lens has fast and quiet autofocus performance. The autofocus performance has been shown to perform well on all Micro Four Third mount mirrorless digital cameras.

Q: 6. Seems like this should be obvious, but I cannot seem to remove the decorative ring in order to attach the lens hood. Am I missing something?

A: Turn the ring counter clock wise

Q: 7. Will this Olympus lens fit a canon rebel t5?

A: Not directly. You would need to also purchase an adapter for a four-thirds lens to the Canon EF camera. I have no experience with the combination, but I suspect that it won't be optimal.

Q: 8. Can I use this lens with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF7?

A: The Oly 45mm lens will work with any m 4/3 interchangeable camera. It is a wonderful lens and I use it along with the Panasonic 14mm, PL 25mm for street photography. It is a very fast and tack sharp lens. I bought it to use when shooting the Charlotte Ballet in low light. I will never let it go. It is a small lens and fits in my kit very well. Because I do shoot a lot of street photography, I needed something that was small but still a great lens. I would list this as one of the best lens that I have owned and that after shooting for more than 50 years. I hope this helps.

Q: 9. Is this lens full compatible with the new Olympus omd em5 Mark II? Or does it need an adapter. Is it as good as the 12-40mm 2.8?

A: When I first bought my OMD EM1, in December 2013, I bought the 12-60. It's an ideal range (though I wish it had more tele.) It's a lens for the E series dSLR, with optical view finder and as such is quite large. It requires an adapter for the OMD series, but is otherwise fully compatible. At the time, it had sluggish auto focus, though I think a recent firmware update fixed the issue. That coupled with its size and the fact that it is no longer in production motivated me to send it back. Now, I'm carrying two bodies: one with the 12-40 f/2.8, which is stellar and another with the Lumix 35-100 f/2.8. Compared to the Nikons I used to own, this rig is smaller, lighter and a great combination for the style of shooting I do.I would highly recommend the 12-40 f/2.8.

Q: 10. Does it have manual focus as well as auto? Am looking for a 17-20mm lens for a panasonic micro four thirds that can also be focused manually (in low light), and it appears that the panasonic offerings cannot.

A: Yes, both manual and auto focus. It's an excellent lens.
