The black Countryman E6X Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Standard Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 3.5mm locking Connector for Azden Wireless Transmitters is a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i earset that features a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom and is suitable for use when a few people will be using the same mic.

The E6X earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6X earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6X earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Azden older 10BT and 41BT wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6 Flex or E6X offers a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i. With a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom, the E6 Flex is secure on the ear and fast to fit without compromising true invisibility and sound.

The E6X's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6X earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6X earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Q: 3. Does it work with Nikon Z7?

A: Unfortunately this would not work with the Nikon Z7 because it does not have an infrared sensor on it. Best bet would be to use the Snapbridge app, a wired shutter release, or a shutter release with a transmitter and receiver such as the one from Vello (VERWN2).

Q: 4. Is this compatible with the Sony a6300 & a6500?

A: Yes, the Godox X1T-S TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Transmitter for Sony, B&H # GOX1TS, is compatible for use with the Sony Multi-Interface hot shoe used on the Sony Alpha a6300 and a6500 Mirrorless Digital Camera.

Q: 5. One Q&A said the paper tray is in the rear . What does this mean? Can I use this as a printer for printing, say, Word or Excel documents and does it have a paper tray like the cheaper all-in-ones that can be used for this purpose? And, of course, for printing high quality photos, which would be the reason I'd buy this!

A: Hi, John -- The ip8720's rear paper tray is actually a flip-up shelf that feeds paper down and directly through the printer for processing. It is one of the main reasons (plus high photo-print-quality) that I bought this model; my ip7220 lacks this tray. The advantage is that the paper follows gravity and follows a pretty straight path, minimizing paper jams and misfeeds. The down-side is that paper left sitting in it may bend and warp over time; and it does leave the printer's innards open to dust and dirt. The ip8720 also has the bottom tray, a design used in most printers, dedicated, printer-only models as well as all-in-ones, from HP, Epson, etc., as well as Canon. While it does keep the paper flat, it's a paper-jam-and-misfeed nightmare (esp with thicker paper and greeting cards), because of the convoluted paper-path (pulled up against gravity, then making a 180-degree bend and coming back out the same side). I much prefer top-feed.You can certainly use this for Word and Excel docs (it's really too much printer for them, but I use it that way, too); tho the primary focus and benefit of the ip8720 (with its large size and small, costly ink-cartridges) is top-notch photo-printing.

Q: 7. I have the godox x1T ttl and the godox V860II-N. Do I need a godox x1r-N ttl as well?

A: No, what you have will work together.

Q: 8. Works with Sony a7iii with Sony HVL F60M?

A: It will transmit the signal in Godox's language, so you'll need the Godox X1R-S to receive that signal. The HVL-F60M will need to be mounted on the X1R-S: https://bhpho.to/2PTcf2p Note: Please push the TEST button on the transmitter when you have completed your changes in settings on the X1T-S transmitter in order to transmit any changes to the X1R-S receiver.

Q: 9. How do I know if the Air10 is communicating with my SONY A9? the test pilot will trigger i60a flash but won't fire when shutter release...

A: The Flash Mode in the Camera Settings 1 would need to be set for Wireless (WL) in order to use the Air 10 Transmitter properly on the Sony A9.

Q: 10. Will this unit work with SB-800 Speedlight?

A: Absolutely. It works with the SB-800.The SB-800 operates a stand-alone Speedlight, wireless Speedlight Commander or wireless remote unit, according to Nikon's website. The SU-800 operates a wireless Speedlight Commander, and only needs a remote flash, which your SB-800 would be.
