The Countryman E6s Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation. The compact size and placement just in front of the ear make this microphone particularly well-suited for intimate theater and broadcast applications, or any use where low mic visibility is a key factor.

The omnidirectional pickup pattern provides a generous and forgiving pickup area around the perimeter of the capsule, while the stainless steel construction stands up to daily use, makeup, and sweat. The mic also comes with 3 different interchangeable caps that let you choose between a flat, bright, or very bright frequency response.

This version of the E6s is cocoa and comes with a 2mm diameter Duramax cable. It terminates to a 4-pin Hirose connector for use with specific* Audio-Technica wireless transmitters.

Q: 1. What is the correct Hoodman model to fit a hood over the large viewfinder?

A: If you would like to exchange the eyecup on the Sony a7 IV Mirrorless Camera with Accessories Kit for a larger eyecup I will recommend the Hoodman Glasses Model HoodEYE Eyecup for Select Sony Alpha Camera Models. Please review the following link to find this option: https://bhpho.to/4fjQ27z

Q: 2. Will we have the same amount of focus points and snappiness for real time eye AF in Super 35 4k60p mode like in full sensor read out mode aka 4k24p/30p?

A: The full frame Sony a7 IV Mirrorless Camera (B&H# SOA74) has 759 on-sensor phase detection focus points as well as 425 contrast detection points. They reside in the center 94% of the sensor image area, leaving only a thin border around them without such designated points. However, when shooting in cropped (APS-C/Super 35) mode, the number of such points is about half of those figures. According to the AF algorithm, the camera will choose the appropriate point(s) at which to focus and then use that/those focus point(s) to attain critical focus. In AF-S mode, the additional step of using contrast AF to confirm focus is used to maximize accuracy. . . at the cost of very slightly reducing focus speed. Since cropped mode reduces the number of points from which to choose, it's possible that focus is very slightly faster when shooting like that. . . but from our experience it's just not noticeable as once the point(s) has/have been selected the actual focusing is the same speed. The area that point is in doesn't make it any faster, whether that's in the wider, full frame, or the APS-C/Super 35 middle part of the frame. If focus speed is a concern, be sure to shoot in AF-C and continuous mode with focus speed set at maximum. In video mode, set AF Transition Speed to 7 (i.e. fastest). Relatedly, if you want the focus to jump quickly to new subjects specifically that may be entering the frame then also set AF Subj. Shift Sensitivity to 7. (You won't set the AF Subj. Shift Sensitivity to a high number (such as 7) if you want focus to stay on the current subject of focus for tenaciously.)

Q: 3. What type of cable does it uses for tethering shooting?

A: The Tether Tools 20" TetherPro USB 3.0 Type-A to C Right Angle Adapter Cable, BH # TECUCRT02ORG can be used in place of the included USB cable of the A7 IV. https://bhpho.to/3FMDeDF

Q: 4. Are ILCE cameras (specifically A7IV) compatible with legacy flashes HVL-F60M, HVL-F20M and 5600HS-D?

A: The Sony A7IV is compatible with all 3 legacy flashes as they support the multi-interface connector.

Q: 5. Will one be able to down load photos via ethernet cord to your computer?

A: Yes, the Sony A7 IV is compatible with Ethernet connections.

Q: 6. Will it take the Sony VG-C4EM Vertical Grip?

A: Yes, VG-C4EM is the correct grip for this camera.

Q: 7. Can this output 4k60 over hdmi?

A: Yes, the Sony A7IV can output 4K UHD video at 60p externally.

Q: 8. Does this camera fully support autofocus (eye autofocus) for SAL135F18 when used with LA-EA5?

A: Unfortunately, due to the camera not being released yet, we currently have no comprehensive way of testing this. However, based on testing with current models sharing almost the same AF system (namely the Sony A1) with which it works extremely well, (albeit a little noisy) we think this experience will be shared by users with the A7IV.

Q: 9. Does it have a S&Q mode that can select variable frame rate from 1 fps to 240 fps?

A: The Sony a7 IV Mirrorless Camera does have a S&Q mode from 1fps to 120fps. There is no option for 240fps.

Q: 10. Will Sony A7 IV be offered with different kit lens (other than Sony 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Lens)? Thank you!

A: At this point in time, there aren't any alternative options for kit lenses with the Sony A7IV. However, do check back with us at a later date, as we usually provide different kit options once the camera has fully released.
