The tan Countryman E6X Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 4-pin female proprietary Connector for Fender Wireless Transmitters is a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i earset that features a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom and is suitable for use when a few people will be using the same mic.
The E6X earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.
The low-profile, omnidirectional E6X earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6X earset's cable terminates to a 4-pin female proprietary connector for direct connection to Fender Passport wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.
The E6 Flex or E6X offers a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i. With a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom, the E6 Flex is secure on the ear and fast to fit without compromising true invisibility and sound.
The E6X's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.
The E6X earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)
Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6X earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.
The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. How does the 1 year limited warranty work when the unit stops working?
A: If youre not outside of the warranty, contact the manufacturer for replacement.
Q: 2. Can I put the transmitter on a Nikon z50 and fire a Nikon d500 with receiver attached?
A: If you have the Godox X1R-N TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver for Nikon connected to the remote terminal on the Nikon D500 DSLR camera via the included N1 Camera Sync Cable, and you have the Godox X1T-N TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Transmitter for Nikon connected to the Nikon Z50 Mirrorless Digital Camera and both remotes are set to the same channel/group, then yes, triggering the Nikon Z50 should also wirelessly trigger the Nikon D500.
Q: 3. I have a canon eos sl3. This camera doesn't have the center contact for it to work with normal strobe syncs. If I get this, would it work fine and would I need to get a reserve as well?
A: This X1T-C would already have the current firmware in order to be compatible with the Canon EOS SL3. As for getting a reserve X1T-C unit, that would be a wise decision in case the primary unit fails during use.
Q: 4. Will this be compatible with both Nissin Di700A and i60A for MFT?
A: Yes it will once released. There are some advanced features on the new Air 10s that are designed for future flashes so some of the features will not work, but you will be able to get some additional features by using the Air 10s.
Q: 5. Which zoom range dies the YN685 have on a cropped sensor camera?
A: The YN685 detects when it is connected to a crop sensor camera and appears to track the effective lens focal length while displaying the lens's stated focal length (which is pretty much standard industry practice). Due to the fact that the strobe's native zoom range is 20 to 200 mm, it's ability to track a zoom lens runs out of range at 200 / crop factor (125 mm on Canon's 1.6x crop sensors and 133 mm on Nikon or other 1.5x crop sensors). Once you hit the end of the strobe's zoom range, you'll get light fall off as the beam width exceeds the lens's viewing angle but, fact is, most uses for speedlites with long lenses put the strobes on stands anyway so the zoom tracking issue is moot. Were you to camera mount the flash with, say, a 70 - 200 mm zoom, the YN685 will track out to it's maximum and then run wide as mentioned before.BTW, I have two of these units that I use interchangeably on two full frame and one crop-sensor body. They have been great.
Q: 6. Must you be in line of site? What if I want to use pocket wizards? Can I just stick it on the trigger mounted to a camera and use it to control the remote flashes?
A: The best answer is yes, you have to be in line of sight. But the complete truth is that, in a smaller room, it's rather forgiving. But if you are trying to truly turn a corner or put your flash on the far side of a wall, you're in trouble.
Q: 7. Can this be triggered by a V1 or a 860iii flash unit on top of the camera or do i need a separate compatible transmitter?
A: Godox tt685, V860 and V1 can all be used as a transmitter to control a Godox X1R-C TTL Wireless Flash Receiver for Canon BH #GOX1RC.
Q: 8. Will this allow me to use my Speedlite 470ex-ai wirelessly one my softbox off camera?
A: Yes this will allow you to use a Canon 470EX-AI off camera.
Q: 9. Is it compatible with Nikon Df?
A: It should. The specs for the Df show that it supports Nikon iTTL flash and I noticed that Nikon Speed lights are recommended accessories. So the YN685 should be compatible.
Q: 10. Is this compatible with v350c?
A: Yes you can use a V350C off camera with this transmitter on the camera.
