A: If your making manual power adjustments on the transmitter after making the power adjustment you have to press test to send the power level to the unit. If you just press the shutter the power adjustment has not been sent.

If you are wanting to stay with Yongnuo flashes, then the 568, 565, and 510 series should all work.
