The light beige Countryman E6i Directional Earset Mic, Medium Gain with Detachable 2mm Cable and 3.5mm locking Connector for Sennheiser Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6i earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Sennheiser SK 2020-D wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will these lights fit onto a boom arm? If so, what product(s) are recommended to do this?

A: These lights screw on top of a light stand. You only need to attach a clamp with a threaded shaft, you should be fine to use it. Mind you that they are AC powered, so you will have to care for the wire of your AC adapter if your boom goes too high.

Q: 2. The specs state "none" for case but there is an image showing a kit with case so does it actually come with one?

A: Yes, the following is included. 1x Yongnuo YN360 III 5500K LED light wand 1x original box 1x carrying case 1x remote control

Q: 3. Is this meter compatible with radio poppers?

A: This is compatible with radio poppers, it requires the pocketwizard tranceivers but it can be done. Read the article on Wireless Flash Power Control in the article attached. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/explora/news/new-sekonic-litemaster-pro-l-478d-and-l-478dr-light-meters

Q: 4. Does this new version still have the 1/4 20 threaded mounting hole at the bottom?

A: Yes it does. I had it mounted on a flexible DSLR tripod and it held nicely.

Q: 5. Does anyone know how to change channels or unpair the lights? I have two and cannot seems to figure out how to adjust them independently because they are both on channel one. Changing values of one light changes the other light wirelessly as well.

A: The lights need to be on their own channel in order to control them independently. This process can be set up in the app.

Q: 6. I want to get two small lights and use them to light my 9 by 7 foot green screen (not me and the screen, only the screen), and other things like taking pictures of coins, jewelry, etc. Would two of these work? Would two of 60x work? Buyiing light panel that is 30 or more inches long is too clumsy to move around a lot. So a smaller light would be ideal.

A: It would depend on how even you want them, but they would need a pretty fair amount of distance to get enough spread for a 9x7 background.

Q: 7. What is the output of the light at 3200K in lux?

A: 3200K Flood (45°) 498 Fc 60 Fc 21 Fc 3ft 9.8ft 16.5ft

Q: 8. How well will this work with the Indra 500

A: It does a fine job. You must set the Indra to receive Strato II signals. It would be best to use a Strato II Transmitter as it has ABCD groups. But you could also use an Odin Transmitter which has ABC groups. There is no power control as the Phottix system is not set up to allow it.

Q: 9. Does the v-mount receiver where the battery rests have a locking mechanism? As in if we mount the light upside down on a pole, would it stay in place or fall off?

A: It would not be recommended.

Q: 10. Does the light get very hot if used at full power for a prolonged period of time?

A: This is a 80w LED. While its not as hot as a tungsten lamp of similar output, there is still heat and over prolonged run time if not ventilated the area will warm up.
