The tan Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Medium Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and LEMO 6-pin Connector for Micron Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6i earset's cable terminates to a LEMO 6-pin connector for direct connection to Micron TX 700-Series wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Has anyone used this with a Canon 600EX-RT flash and 5Dsr camera? When I try it's always overexposed, the 600EX-RT only fires at full power. I've updated the firmware (yesterday) and I've tried three different transmitters (X1T-C, TT685, AD360II).

A: If your making manual power adjustments on the transmitter after making the power adjustment you have to press test to send the power level to the unit. If you just press the shutter the power adjustment has not been sent.

Q: 2. Does half pressing the shutter lights the back of the transmitter?

A: The test button must be fully depressed for the light in the back to illuminate.

Q: 3. Any ideas how to use this transmiter and nikon su800 on top of it i want to use 2 godox ad200 with nikon sb910 and sb800 The godox ad 200 is fireing The nikons no

A: You must have a Godox X1R-N TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver for Nikon B&H # GOX1RN on the Nikon SB-910 placed off camera so that it can fire with the AD200, while the X1T-N is on camera with the SB-800. https://bhpho.to/2gvAXHk

Q: 4. Does this work well with a Nikon D5000?

A: It works great on my D7100 so I would think just as well on a D5000

Q: 5. Is this compatible with RX1Rii? Will it obstruct the pop up VF?

A: Sorry, but I do not know. I do suggest you call the pros at B&H. They will know the answers and suggest alternatives if appropriate to best fulfill your needs.

Q: 6. Will it works in TTL mode with Nikon F100?

A: Ill be completely honest about this product... it only flashes 1 out of every 3 times I take a picture, even if i wait a full min between shots. There is a TTL setting, but it never worked for me, and I had to use Manual. I sincerely hope people spend the 300-500$ and get a Nikon flash, otherwise they might have a paperweight like I now have.

Q: 7. I have the godox x1T ttl and the godox V860II-N. Do I need a godox x1r-N ttl as well?

A: No, what you have will work together.

Q: 8. Planing to get this trigger and a Godox X1R-S. Would a Hss, TTL still work on Sony Hvl-f43m, Sony Hvl-f60m HSS?

A: the Godox X1T-S TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Transmitter for Sony BH #GOX1TS when used with a X1r-s can do TTL and HSS with Sony Flash HVL-F43 and FVL-F60.

Q: 9. Will this work out of the box with the fuji ef-x20 flash unit, or does the fuji flash need a receiver?

A: Probably not! This works with Godox and Flashpiont products with built in triggers. So if it a Fuji flash chances are it wont work.

Q: 10. What model of a Better Beamer will fit the YN685?

A: You can use the FX3 Better Beamer Flash Extender for Telephoto Lenses (B&H # VIFX3) with the Yongnuo YN685 Wireless TTL Speedlite.
