The tan Countryman E6 Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 4-Pin Hirose Connector for Sony Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6 earset's cable terminates to a 4-pin Hirose connector for direct connection to Sony DWT-B01, DWT-G01, DWT-S01, and DWT-V01 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Q: 1. Does TTL, HSS & Manual work on the Sony a1? The fjwestcott page says to use the FJ-X3 M for the a1. Is that info outdated?

A: The FJx3m will work on all camers to use it with the Sony you will need the adaptor. If you are a Sony only shooter then get the FJX3s no adaptor needed.

Q: 4. Is this all I will nead to flash the Speedlite 580EX2 and Speedlight 430EX? Will it work at a distance in bright direct sunlight?

A: This trigger works with radio waves, so it is not subject to light interference. To trigger Canon flashes however, you need to attach Godox wireless receivers to your flashes.

Q: 5. will this trigger work with a Neewer 750ii TTL flash?

A: The Neewer 750II TTL does not have a built-in radio receiver. If you have the version of that flash for Nikon cameras you'd need to add this receiver to use it off camera with the XPRO N transmitter: Godox X1R-N TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver for Nikon B&H# GOX1RN https://bhpho.to/3vsdWa5

Q: 7. Assuming that it has PC cord output, can it handle a 250V sync voltage as on a Vivitar 283 flash?

A: The Westcott FJ-X3 S Wireless Flash Trigger for Sony Cameras is a transmitter only for a camera's hot shoe. The port on it is for charging, and it does not work as a receiver for flashes. There is a manual receiver available, but it cannot handle 250V.

Q: 8. Is this trigger compatible with the Sony a6400?

A: Yes, the following system will work with Sony protocol system.

Q: 9. Will this trigger work with the X1R-S on a Bolt VB-22, either shoe-mounted or PC sync? I'm sure it will fire but will it enable the VB-22 for HSS?

A: While you can sync a Bolt VB-22 with a Godox X1R-S attached via PC sync, it will not allow for HSS. The flash would need to be TTL compatible in order to incorporate HSS, which VB-22 is not.

Q: 10. Is it safe to assume that No Sony Adapter is needed for this flash trigger?

A: Yes. The following system is designed and made for Sony.
