The tan Countryman E6 Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Standard Gain with Detachable 2mm Cable and 3.5mm Locking Connector for Olympus, Roland, Sony, Tascam, Yamaha, or Zoom Portable Recorders is a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6 earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Olympus, Roland, Sony, Tascam, Yamaha, or Zoom DM-420, DM-520, DM-620, DS-2400, DS-40, DS-51, DS-61, DS-71, LS-10, LS-14, R05, R09HR, PCM-D50, PCM-M10, DR-05, DR-07mkII, DR-08, PR-10, Pocketrak C24, Pocketrak W24, H1, H2, and H2n portable recorders.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Great upgrade lens to the kit lenses that come with the camera. Gives you the extra close shots you find yourself craving effortlessly. Focus is a little slow, so don't be shocked by it. Other than that, it's a great lens for the price.

For years I used a Canon AE-1 as my primary camera, then wanted to try some digital, so used a couple of Kodak digitals. I missed the ability to do macro photography, which is my favorite, so I recently purchased an Olympus Evolt E-510 and got this lens to go along with it. I was out shooting all weekend at botanical gardens and out in the desert, and can report that I am VERY pleased with this lens. I really liked the light weight of it, and, since I was shooting mainly outdoor shots in sunlight, the focus and response were perfect. I'm really pleased with this purchase and would heartily recommend it.

Or should I say amazed at both the range and quality and more than acceptable speed on the E3. So far this lens has been used in a professional assignment capacity on subjects from wildlife and high speed aircraft to portraits, neither I or my clients have any complaints. Color and contrast is right on. Focus is fast and accurate on the E3. Have not tried it on any other camera. First day test way to photograph a black cat in 75% shadow, no hunting. Macro is exceptional. The only complaint I have is the lens shade. Removing it is uncomfortable if the lens is at 70mm. At 70mm you have no room to grab the barrel so as you turn the shade the barrel extends. Not a big deal, just uncomfortable for me. I found patten metering and spot focus give me the best all around results with this lens. So far no lens flair or vignetting. Nice weight and balance. I shoot better with a heavy camera and lens. This lens on the E3 is just right for me and easy to hand hold in low light conditions.

If you like fisheye lenses, you'll love this one. The overall quality is phenomenal, from the glass to the sturdy metal body. The glass is ultra-sharp and has very little flare/reflection issues. Even though I often end up with the sun in the frame, rarely do I see any flare or artifacts from it. Focusing is fast and reliable. Even the lens cap is made from a sturdy piece of metal. I can't think of anything I don't like about the lens. Since the front element is huge it can take some effort to clean, but that just comes with the size.

I have been using this lens for a few weeks now and it is a fine piece of wide angle engineering. The pictures at the 7mm setting produce results that show virtually no distortion in the majority of shots. Also great results for close up photos producing dramatic results. My new favourite.
