The light beige Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 2mm Cable and 4-pin Hirose Connector for Sony Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6i earset's cable terminates to a 4-pin Hirose connector for direct connection to Sony DWT-B01, DWT-G01, DWT-S01, and DWT-V01 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with Calumet Genesis 400W strobes? I have a Sony A7iii.

A: No, the Westcott FJ-X3 S Wireless Flash Trigger for Sony Cameras is designed to trigger Westcott strobes with Sony cameras.

Q: 2. Are there any known issues with this trigger and Canon's new multi function hot shoe (present in the Eos R7)?

A: There has been a firmware update to correct any issues with the Canon Multi-Function Shoe as found on the EOS R7.

Q: 3. Will the Westcott FJ-X3 S Wireless Flash Trigger for Sony Cameras trigger Canon speedlights?

A: If you plug the FJ-XR Receiver into the canon speedlight the FJ-X3 you will be able to trigger the FJ-X3 S. FJ-X3 M Trigger can trigger them by turning on the Canon-RT mode.

Q: 4. Is this trigger capable of Over Drive Sync (ODS)? Or just the Phottix Odin?

A: As I understand it correctly, ODS lets you tweak the time the flash fires slightly for each channel in an effort to allow the output curve to appear during the entire shutter duration with certain IGBT flash units. This is not supported on any of the Godox flashes or triggers, only on Phottix. Godox instead uses the more traditional HSS for sync up to 1/8000s.

Q: 5. Is the Godox XPRoO TTL Wireless Flash Trigger compatible with Godox TT350O?

A: According to the B&H website, it is. I love this system and how easy it is to operate.

Q: 6. Can this unit for Nikon cameras control one or more speedlights using i-TTL and one or more speedlights using radio transmission at the same time?

A: For the I-TTL you can control as many compatible speedlights as you like with this transmitter and it's matching receivers. It will not do infra red or line of sight triggering and radio triggering simultaneously. It's a radio transmitter only.

Q: 7. Do you need to attach a Godox receiver unit to each Canon Speedlite being used as a slave unit, or will the Canon RT Speedlites receive and respond to the signals from the Godox transmitter?

A: You will need extra Godox recievers.

Q: 8. will this work with the Canon 430 ex II speedlite?

A: The Canon 430ex II alone can not be triggered by this item. However, along with the Godox receiver (BH #GOX1RC), this transmitter can both trigger and control the Canon 430ex II.

Q: 9. Does the AF-assist beam work with X-100 series cameras?

A: Godox XPro Wireless Flash Trigger for Fujifilm X100 cameras for the moment it does not function for AF command' future firmware update I think its possible.

Q: 10. Does TTL, HSS & Manual work on the Sony a1? The fjwestcott page says to use the FJ-X3 M for the a1. Is that info outdated?

A: The FJx3m will work on all camers to use it with the Sony you will need the adaptor. If you are a Sony only shooter then get the FJX3s no adaptor needed.
