Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. CAN I USE THIS LENSE CANON MARK 5D 4 AND CANON 6D MARK 2?

A: Yes you can use that lens with a 5D mkIV, and 6D mkII, but why? Did you spend all your money on the bodies, and have nothing left for the glass? Get the Canon 70-300 L f/4-5.6 IS. It's only $1100 more than this lens, and you will cut yourself with how sharp the shots are. Sorry, I've owned that lens, it's a kit lens, and takes OK shots. With great camera bodies, why get a cheap lens? Those bodies are made for good glass. No insult intended.

Q: 2. Does this have Stabilization?

A: The lens does not feature image stabilization.

Q: 3. Is this compatible with a Canon EOS rebel T5?

A: The Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Lens will be compatible with the Canon T5.

Q: 4. Will this work with the Canon 90D?

A: Yes the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Lens is fully compatible with the Canon 90D camera.

Q: 5. If using this lens on an APC sensor camera(80D)do you have to multiply the zoom by the crop factor of 1.6 (zoom being 112mm X 480mm instead of 70mm X 300mm)?

A: You would do so only if you are trying to compare the lens' angle of view to a lens used on a full-frame camera. If you are looking for the full-frame equivalent focal length of ANY lens used on a Canon DSLR camera with an APS-C cropped sensor, you have to multiply the focal length of the lens by 1.6x. As such, when using the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Lens on a Canon DSLR camera with an APS-C sensor, it would have the equivalent focal length of a 120-480mm lens when being used on a full-frame sensor camera.

Q: 6. What lens adapter will I need if I want to use this with the eosM50?

A: This Vello Auto Lens Adapter for Canon EF/EF-S Lens to Canon EOS M Camera System will work on the Canon M50 and on the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Lens. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/983576-REG/vello_lae_cm_cef_auto_lens_adapter_for.html

Q: 7. Will this work with the rebel t6i?

A: Yes, this lens is compatible with the Rebel T6i.

Q: 8. Is this compatible with the Lumix G85?

A: No, the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Lens is not compatible with the Panasonic Lumix G85 Mirrorless Camera.

Q: 9. Is this a good choice lenses for zooming in on baseball or football game?

A: Yes this would be a nice cost effective lens for photographing baseball or football games.

Q: 10. Will this work with a mirrorless camera?

A: The Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Lens, coupled with the appropriate lens mount adapter, can be used on Canon and other mirrorless cameras.

Great lens for 300mm, great pictures. I used it for everything: landscape, wildlife, events, outdoor, indoor. I had it before with my old canon, I sold it, and I bought the same lens with my new canon. Is a must. I love it!

I have to be honest and say I don't know enough about lenses to really nitpick this thing. Also, I'm not really interested all that much in the speed of the autofocus because I'm a focus snob and insist on doing it myself. For my uses this lens is excellent. It's great when you need to narrow that angle down and it's got a lot of zoom if you like that stuff. The aperture is open enough to get some decent bokeh when fully zoomed. If you are planning on shooting a film and need a lens for some close ups/emotional shots I think this would be great.

This product is such a deal for its obviously great quality and listed at a relatively low price. Perfect lense for amateur photographers.

I use this lens with my DSLR and it blows my mind. On the subject of zoom, I spent a particularly clear night last week photographing the moon. Using a live-feed on my computer, I could see clear and succinct detail on the moon's surface, such as distinct geographical landmarks and shadows on craters and such. When used in a more close-quarters capacity, the lens provides a surprising amount of flexibility as opposed to other telephoto lenses. Given enough space, you can comfortably shoot short or long. I use the lens primarily to photograph stray cats in South Philly.
