Q: 1. Does this work with the Vello BG-C14 Battery Grip for Canon 5D Mark IV DSLR Camera?

A: Vello is slightly a little different from canon , It will not fit right

Q: 2. If I mount a 35mm anamorphic lens on a Gh5s, am I getting 17.5mm or 35mm field of view? Isn't the MFT system will automatically times 2? Thank you! trying to get to the world of MFT from full frame

A: You would get a 70mm field of view from a 35mm lens on the GH5S. You times the lens' focal length by 2, not divide it, with the GH5s to determine field of view.

Q: 3. Does the allen key for the clamp at the top (where it clamps onto the cameras side strap loop) share the same allen key size as the bottom allen key? Ie, uses the same allen key as is attached to the grip?I have the Kirk version and you still need to carry around another allen key size as it isn't attached to the bracket, which makes the supplied allen key a waste of time.

A: Yes, it only needs the single Allen key provided.

Q: 4. Will this L plate fit on a Arca Swiss D4 head with classic knob quick release?

A: Yes, it is compatible with the D4.

Q: 5. Will this work on a 70d with battery grip?

A: The Really Right Stuff BGE20-L Set L-Plate for Canon 5D Mark IV with BG-E20 Battery Grip will not work with the 70D, and the battery grip.

Q: 6. Will this plate support a Canon 5D Mark III with BG-E11 Battery Grip ?

A: Hi Mark, for the BG-E11 you will need our BGE11-L bracket. This has been discontinued but you might be able to find one in the used marketplace. The BGE20-L is not backward compatible.

Q: 7. Will this base plate work just for the 5D 4 body only without the battery grip? In other words, can it be used both with and without the battery grip?

A: No. You will need a plate for each configuration.

Q: 8. Is there a screw hole on the bottom to accept a Cotton Carrier Hub?

A: The Really Right Stuff BGE20-L Set L-Plate for Canon 5D Mark IV with BG-E20 Battery Grip does not have a 1/4 thread when used as an L-plate. If you are only using the bottom plate, it does have a 1/4 thread.

Q: 9. Is it not possible to use a follow focus with these because when you focus the lens protrudes? Like a Tilta Nucelus or even a mechanical follow focus?

A: Using a follow focus on these should not be a problem, since the focus ring is designed as a cinema lens ring. What would be an issue would be mounting a clip-on matte box, as that would spin around with the turn of the lens.

Q: 10. What f or t stop range does each lens have?

A: The 35mm has a maximum aperture of T2.4, while the 50mm is T2.8 and the 70mm is T4.
