The light beige Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and TA3F Connector for Audix Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.
The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.
The low-profile, omnidirectional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6i earset's cable terminates to a TA3F connector for direct connection to Audix B60 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.
The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.
The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.
The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)
Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.
The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. can the increments for aperture and shutter be set independently? IE can I set 1/2 stop aperture increments then set 1 stop shutter increments?
A: Yes, stop increments for shutter and aperture can be set individually on the Sekonic Speedmaster L-858D-U Light Meter.
Q: 2. does this meter have a auto shut off feature to save the batteries? I have a Sekonic L 608 cine meter and it will stay on
A: Yes, the Sekonic L-858D-U Speedmaster Light Meter Kit with Transmitter Module for Godox has auto shut off feature. This meter has many options, you can turn auto power off as well as setting it to shut off at 5,10, or 20 minutes.
Q: 3. Could this unit take the place of the Godox XProC TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Canon cameras?
A: While this has the same radio signal as an XPRO C trigger, it can only fire a Godox flash wirelessly in order to obtain the exposure information to dial into your camera. You would still need an XPRO C or X1T-C trigger on the camera to shoot an image in your camera.
Q: 4. Does this 2 light kit come with 2 v-mount adapters?
A: The SmallRig RC 220B Bi-Color LED Monolight (2-Light Kit) BH #SM4010 comes with one v mount plate.
Q: 5. Will Sekonic L-858D-U trigger /adjust flash Canon 600 EX-RT (with or without ST-E3-RT Speedlite Transmitter)?
A: It will only trigger Pocket Wizards or Elinchro/Phottix systems but you must buy the transmitter for either system separately. So in your case, you would need the Pocket Wizard module and a pair of Pocket Wizard Transmitter/Receivers to set up with your Canon speedlight. The meter would be able to allow you to adjust the output of the light if you use a Pocket Wizard Flex TT fo Canon attached to the light. You could always just manually trigger your flash and read the output with the meter in cordless flash mode. Then you wouldnt need a module or Pocket Wizards. But there are much less expensive Sekonics that could do the same thing. Hope this helps.
Q: 6. In what increments will this measure lux at all values? Will it measure lux to the 1's place in values above 1000lx? 10's place?
A: The Sekonic Speedmaster L-858D-U Light Meter can read 0.1 to 2,000,000 Lux. And the speed can be set for, 1/64,000 to 30 Minutes (1, 1/2, 1/3-Step Increments), Plus 1/400, 1/200
Q: 7. Does the Aputure Fresnel 2X shown in the recommended accessories work well with the daylight model, RC 220D?
A: Yes, the Aputure Fresnel 2X Attachment can work with the SmallRig RC 220D Light.
Q: 8. Does any light meter take into account an APS-C sensor in its readings?
A: No, it does not. A sensor's crop factor has no effect or bearing on the exposure of the image.
Q: 9. How many lumens of intensity does it have approximately? and also the equivalent to watts, how much would it be?
A: The photometrics are 98,700lux @ 1m with a hyper reflector. It is a 260w draw LED.
Q: 10. Are there any filmmaking features from the 758Cine that aren't found in the 858?
A: Short answer: No. Longer answer: the L-858D has more features and user adaptability than any meter ever created. That is because it is a computer with meter functions and has a display screen that is built on the fly. I do love my 758 but the fixed LCD display simply cannot display all the elements that a color dot matrix screen can. For Cine, the 758 and 858 both have an expanded frame rate and shutter angles. However, the 858 lets you create your own frame rates and shutter angles useful when encountering some weird discontinuous lighting that would flicker with common frame rates. Or for a special slow or fast visual. The 858 has a whole filter biasing system in it. This started in the 758 Cine. Greatly expanded with the 858 and it lets you enter your own filter factors and name them. I have both the 758 and 858 ( work on the instruction manuals) and will keep and use them both. I like what the 758 does for exposure decisions for landscape photography. For almost everything else, the 858 is starting to be my favorite. The radio triggering feature for studio lights (spell that Elinchrom) is worth the price of admission. Hope that helps.
