The Countryman E6i Cardioid Microphone is a miniature ear-set microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The cardioid version effectively minimizes off-axis feedback and noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and noisy sources. Flexible microphone positioning is maintained and the included windscreen minimizes the wind noise often associated with cardioid microphones.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.

A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is beige and features a 4-pin Mini Screw-on connector for use with Sabine wireless transmitters.

A miniature cardioid capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters.

The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis residual noise from e nearby monitor speakers, instruments and loud sources. The result is increased signal-to-noise ratio and minimal feedback. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning. The E6i is also available in an omnidirectional version for maximum control over wind noise and plosives (popping).

This E6i's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture general speech without noise and distortion.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I just bought an Alpen spotting scope. It appears to have both a 1/4-20 threaded mount and a 2nd unthreaded hole. I'm guesing this is for an alignment pin to keep it from rotating when mounted. Does this head support this kind of mount?

A: Yes it will, but make sure you are using a sturdy set of legs. My husband has everything you mentioned.

Q: 2. Will this tripod head will work with Robus RC-5570 Vantage Series 3 Carbon Fiber Tripod ?

A: Yes it will.

Q: 3. is this Nitrotech different from the traditional fluid head? thanks

A: It's a slightly different engineering concept (nitrogen pistons) than a traditional fluid head, but functions the same way. :)

Q: 4. how do I attach and remove the 128RC from the tripod?

A: The Manfrotto 128RC connection to a tripod through a 3/8 connection. You can take this head off and on any tripod with such screw, such as B&H #MAMT290XTA3U.

Q: 5. Are VB30 and VB26A for v860iii flash compatible and can you use the charger for VB26a with VB30

A: Although the external battery charger is not provided in the box with Godox V1Pro C Flash for Canon you can use Godox VC26 USB Charger for V1 Battery to charge Godox VB30 Battery for V1Pro Flash Head. You can also use interchange batteries between Godox V1 and V1 pro.

Q: 6. Should I buy this Arca-Swiss with the classic screw mount or get the head without the clamp and use an old Kirk 2.4 clamp with a level that can be seen when a camera with a plate is mounted on the head?

A: The screw mount or lever mount is a matter of personal preference, either one will work well.

Q: 7. Que peso soporta el cabezal?

A: 10 Kg - 22 Lbs

Q: 8. Would this be a good choice to mount on a monopod when you don't want to use a tripod? Looking for easier maneuverability when in the field.

A: Yes, this is a great choice for a head to go on to a monopod.

Q: 9. How do I adjust the friction and pan? The knobs (including head locking) are extremely tight.

A: The ball operates with the locking knob and friction-control/tension knob, while the pan-axis uses the separate pan-locking knob. Typically, it operates without much effort. Reach out to us via video live-chat if you are having trouble with it and we should be able to troubleshoot it together. :)

Q: 10. I have read in forums that Manfrotto fluid heads created in the last few years were not designed to be real fluid heads, instead I have been told that they are friction heads. Does the new fluid technology mentioned in the Manfrotto Nitrotech 608 and 612 mean that the heads use actual fluid for smoother panning along with a better counter balance system with the nitrogen piston technology?

A: Yes, this head does have fluid in it. Manfrotto has informed us that this head does use fluid and that the viscosity of the fluid is one of the things they have improved. This leads to it working much better in lower temperatures.
