The Countryman E6i Cardioid Microphone is a miniature ear-set microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.
A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is tan and features a Switchcraft TA4F connector for use with Revolabs wireless transmitters.

A miniature cardioid capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin.
The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters. The Duramax 2mm diameter cable provides extra strength, flexibility and durability.
The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis residual noise from e nearby monitor speakers, instruments and loud sources. The result is increased signal-to-noise ratio and minimal feedback. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning. The E6i is also available in an omnidirectional version for maximum control over wind noise and plosives (popping).
This E6i's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture general speech without noise and distortion.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. How do I order another Quick release plate?
A: We are sorry to say that is not a part we sell. That is a Service Part which you'd need to obtain from the manufacturer directly. If you need assistance with that feel free to email us directly at askbh@bhphoto.com.
Q: 2. Is VB30 battery compatible with the Godox v860iii flash ? (asking because other related answers are not clear about that point)
A: The Godox VB30 Battery for V1Pro Flash Head will only work with the Godox V1Pro Flash at this time. It is not compatible with Godox VING V860II TTL Li-Ion Flash, The battery compatible with the v860II is the Godox VB-18 Li-Ion Battery Pack (11.1V, 2000mAh).
Q: 3. Is this head made in Italy or China ?
A: The Manfrotto MVH608 Nitrotech Head is made in Italy.
Q: 4. Is the arca clamp permanently attached to the ball joint? Can the clamp be removed?
A: The clamp can be removed by the treaded stud. However it looks to me like the plate is designed to fit very nicely on this ball joint. Not sure that another plate would fit as nicely.
Q: 5. Is the same plate used on this the same as the FSB 8 side load?
A: yes
Q: 6. why is there a knob on the right and left side?
A: The knob on the right side top end of the Davis & Sanford V9 Fluid Video Head tightens the tripod plate into the head. Beneath that one still on the right, the bigger knob tightens or loosens the amount of Vertical tension on forward and backward motions. The knob on the left side tightens or loosens the panning capabilities, for horizontal motions of the fluid head.
Q: 7. Does this head really weigh 2.2 lbs?
A: I did not weigh the head, but the weight seems appropriate. It is an excellent head and works great to hold my Schwarovski spotting scope.
Q: 8. is this Nitrotech different from the traditional fluid head? thanks
A: It's a slightly different engineering concept (nitrogen pistons) than a traditional fluid head, but functions the same way. :)
Q: 9. Can someone with experience with both tell me how this head compares with the Sachtler FSB-6 head (not in specs, but actual use and performance)?
A: The biggest benefit on the Manfrotto head is the price to features value. Considering that the Nitrotech comes in at virtually one third of the price of the Sachtler, of course, if budgetary considerations are a primary factor, then the Manfrotto model makes perfect sense and is a very respectable option. Having said that, there are some "real life" comparisons out there in the forums world that would be very beneficial to consider, since as a impartial observers we can only comment on the obvious specs, as listed by each manufacturer, which is not the original intent of this inquiry.
Q: 10. Is this the side load version or the touch and go version? With their other heads, the T suffix means touch and go, but the B&H website describes it as side load .
A: Hi, this is the Touch & Go Version (S2046-0001). Thank you, description will be changed
