Zacuto 3.2" Adhesive Frame For Z-finder Viewfinder

$25.65 $38.48

The Zacuto 3.2" Adhesive Frame for Z-Finder Viewfinder lets you snap a Zacuto Z-Finder Viewfinder quickly on and off a 3.2" LCD, like that of Canon's 5D Mark III and 1DX and of Nikon's D800 and D4. The frame attaches around the LCD by a one-time adhesive and then you can snap the Z-Finder onto it and off from it as many times as you want, and it's compatible with all Z-Finders out there. (You can at any time safely remove the frame from your camera, but its adhesive will be lost.)

Normally, a Z-Finder attaches by a thumbscrew system, which requires screwing and unscrewing each time you attach, but the frame provides you instead with a quick-release system. And considering the affordable cost of the frame, if you have several cameras with 3.2" LCDs, you can purchase several frames and be able to quickly move your Z-Finder from one camera to another.

The frame ships with an extender (which is also a frame), the exact kind that comes with a Z-Finder. The extender attaches to the Z-Finder, and then by means of this extender the Z-Finder snaps onto the frame. Both the frame and the extender are made of reliable plastic.

Nikon D800 users please note: the D800 has a dial close to its screen, and this dial gets in the way of the frame, so D800 users are advised to use the clear screen protector -- part # BM-12 -- that comes with the D800 when attaching the sticky frame. You'll only need to use the top and bottom adhesive of the frame in this case, leaving the backing on the sides unpeeled so the glue underneath will not attract dirt and lint. The frame will be scored and marked to guide you in doing all this.
