A: I only use live view for movies. I know you can change it when you are standard (viewfinder mode) by use the aperture preferred mode. That may also be true if in live view mode.

A: Refurbished cameras do not have shutter counts, that have been overhauled by the manufacturer and are sold as new.

The 20 MP D500 will create incredible images in very very low light, the 20MP would limit the largest size print one could make to 30 x 40 inches If the photographer wants the highest dynamic range, and the ability to make really large prints, then the Nikon D850 or the Nikon Z7 would be the best,

A: I also have a D300 and it is a great camera. However, when the D500 was announced, I jumped on the chance to get one. It is a fantastic camera which I use a lot. I have a lot of lenses and they all fit the D500. I liked it so much, I bought a second D500 so that I could keep two of my favorite wildlife lenses on each one. You won't regret your purchase of this fine camera.
