The light beige Countryman E6X Directional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and TA4F Connector for Lightspeed Wireless Transmitters is a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i earset that features a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom and is suitable for use when a few people will be using the same mic.

The E6X earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6X earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6X earset's cable terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to Lightspeed BP-700 and BP-800 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6 Flex or E6X offers a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i. With a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom, the E6 Flex is secure on the ear and fast to fit without compromising true invisibility and sound.

The E6X's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6X earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6X earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Q: 1. I have one of these lights already but am looking to purchase another. Is there any way to link the 2 lights to a single remote?

A: Yes you can. The COMER Radiance 360 Variable Color LED On-Camera Light (2500 to 9900K) comes with a remote that has 3 channels on it. If you hold the Mode Button on this light it allows you to switch between channels 1, 2 and 3.

Q: 2. How many Lumens/Lux is this light?

A: The Vidpro Mini LED Video Light Kit for Action Cameras, Camcorders, and Smartphones measure 340 Lux at 3.3'.

Q: 3. Can I select 2 out of 3 light groups to flash at once? Or is it only one or all?

A: The Godox module in the Sekonic L-858D-U Speedmaster Light Meter Kit with Transmitter Module for Godox allows you to access the Groups like the standard Godox transmitter.

Q: 4. Has anyone purchased the COMER Radiance 360 On-Camera LED Panel 3-Light Kit I would know the power adapter specifications I like to buy separate power adapters, but I wanna make sure that I get the correct voltage and amperage thanks.

A: The COMER Radiance 360 Variable Color LED On-Camera Light (2500 to 9900K) includes a travel charger with an AC input of 100V-240V - 50/60Hz, Max 150mA and an outout of DC 8.4V- 60.0mA. The included battery is 7.4V and 6600mAh with 48.8Wh. The light has a 7-16.8 V DC that works great with the Watson Pro 12V 2A Power Supply (2.1mm). https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1411731-REG/watson_ps_12v2a_21_12v_2a_power_supply.html

A: The Ikan iLED312 has a wattage draw of 14 watts @5600/3200 and 24 watts @ 4400K The be powered from Sony L Series DV Batteries. The light has two battery attachments in the rear. Alternatively you can use the Ikan Anton Bauer battery adapter cable to power this light from an Anton Bauer Power Tap connection B&H # AB101. The input voltage is 7.4-14.8 VDC for the Coax input. (this is important if powering the light from a brick battery)

Q: 6. Can this work off-camera as a continuous studio light? Can it be mounted on a tripod? Cam it produce continuous light?

A: It can work as a continuous studio light either off AC mains or DC batteries - it takes two so either can be hot-swapped at any time, while the other is still supplying power to the light. It can be mounted to a tripod, i have mounted mine to a Manfrotto 501 head, the screw in the mounting plate screwed directly into the bottom of the light

Q: 9. I was looking at the Pro L-478, but decided I would prefer to have the spot meter option as well. Are the cine features between the 858 and Pro L-478 the same? Or does the 478 include other cine features that the 858 does not?

A: when I purchased the 858, I was upgrading from the 758. At the time, the 858 wasn't out yet, but I waited an extra month because the combination meter is super convenient for my job. (I'm a gaffer). The extra cine features aren't as important to me. Many of them are a bonus, but I use mostly basic functions. (Regardless, they both have pretty comparable features). The key for me was having combo so I keep less on my belt.

Q: 10. Does anybody know where to get spare parts for the sekonic L-858D-U. I lost the plastic ring on my diopter view on the first day i shot still works just need that part.

A: I would contact Sekonic directly. Though not the same, I needed a replacement screen cover and they had them available. In my case it was mailed to me at no personal cost. I contacted them by email and, while it did take them a bit longer than most companies to respond, everything worked out just fine.
