The light beige Countryman E6X Directional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 1/4" Connector for Line 6 Wireless Transmitters is a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i earset that features a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom and is suitable for use when a few people will be using the same mic.

The E6X earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6X earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6X earset's cable terminates to a 1/4" connector for direct connection to Line 6 TBP06 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6 Flex or E6X offers a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i. With a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom, the E6 Flex is secure on the ear and fast to fit without compromising true invisibility and sound.

The E6X's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6X earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6X earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Q: 1. Does anybody know where to get spare parts for the sekonic L-858D-U. I lost the plastic ring on my diopter view on the first day i shot still works just need that part.

A: I would contact Sekonic directly. Though not the same, I needed a replacement screen cover and they had them available. In my case it was mailed to me at no personal cost. I contacted them by email and, while it did take them a bit longer than most companies to respond, everything worked out just fine.

A: There are no other attachments to narrow the spot any further.

Q: 5. My prior question was poorly worded. I think this one is more to the point:I see the Ikan kit comes with 2 power adapters: 1 for AC and 1 for 12V DC.Can the light be powered by using either adapter while plugged-in to the respective power source instead of using the Sony batteries?OR, can the light only be powered by the Sony batteries? Thanks,

A: This light may be powered via AC or DC power. You may choose from battery or120 VAC or 12 VDC.

Q: 6. I was looking at the Pro L-478, but decided I would prefer to have the spot meter option as well. Are the cine features between the 858 and Pro L-478 the same? Or does the 478 include other cine features that the 858 does not?

A: when I purchased the 858, I was upgrading from the 758. At the time, the 858 wasn't out yet, but I waited an extra month because the combination meter is super convenient for my job. (I'm a gaffer). The extra cine features aren't as important to me. Many of them are a bonus, but I use mostly basic functions. (Regardless, they both have pretty comparable features). The key for me was having combo so I keep less on my belt.

Q: 7. How's the color accuracy for those who actually used it? Bought it on Cyber Monday and noticed thee CRI is somewhat low. Debating if I should return these now seeing other panels offers CRI of 95 and more bulbs at around the same price.

A: I have nothing to compare it to my first LED light but the color seems fine, especially since the temperature is adjustable.
