Dry-Lam Super-Lam Thermal Laminating Film has been developed as an adhesive that works on harder than normal print surfaces. It is often referred to as an "ASAP" adhesive - Always Sticks, All Prints - which means that it will stick to almost every print surface or even offset printing.

Inasmuch as it features a wide operating temperature, you can use it on a wide variety of prints since your temperature can be set between 210-270°.  Toner-based digital prints are especially receptive to this film since they are manufactured with fuser oils and glycol which ordinary films find difficult to stick to.

A: I wouldn't use this for any kind of portraiture. This lens introduces a great deal of distortion which is great for many applications. I think of it as artistic distortion. But you don't want to distort people - they probably wouldn't like it at all.

A: Kyle,I assume you're asking about filter sizes, but this lens doesn't take a front filter. The convex surface of the front element, along with the built-in hood, prevent use of a normal filter.There is, however, a slot for a rear gelatin or plastic filter.I hope this helps.Best,Tom

Is this normal for a brand new lens right out of the retail box upon receiving it? The dust was easy enough to wipe off with Zeiss lens tissues and the glass does not show any sign of scratch by naked eyes. No dust on the internal side of the glass as far as my eyes can tell. Any advice and input will help my expectation of a brand new professional lens.
