The Chrosziel AC-102-13 DSLR Fluid Zoom Drive is a dual gear zoom lever with a knob designed to be used with DSLR cameras capable of shooting video, including the Canon 5D MarkII and Nikon D90. The unit can also work with Fujinon and Canon cine-style video lenses, as well as Cooke cine zooms. The adjustable fluid dampening system works the same way a fluid tripod head does; by increasing the resistance of the gear, users can achieve smoother zooms by dramatically reducing variation in speed due to human error.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I had 2 other solutions somehow lose power (the battery symbol blinks) after a few days. Will this one maintain full power for longer

A: The Nikon EH-5d AC Adapter paired with the correct dummy battery for your camera will not lose power.

Q: 2. Will this work on a Canon XF305 ?

A: The Canon AC Adapter CA-PS700 is incompatible with the Canon XF305 Professional Camcorder. Instead, get the Canon CA-946 Compact Power Adapter for Select Canon Cinema EOS Cameras and Camcorders, BH #CACA946.

Q: 3. How long is the cable?

A: The Nikon EH-6D AC Adapter is comprised of two cables: a 5' 9" wall plug cable and a 5' cable that plugs into the camera.

Q: 4. can I use this adapter for my K1? Thank you Jerry

A: Yes! This is the correct power supply for the K-1.

Q: 5. will this power the Nikon Z6ii continuously?

A: The EH-5d AC Adapter can power the Z6 II continuously by way of the Nikon EP-5B Power Supply Connector for Select Nikon Cameras, BH # NIEP5B. https://bhpho.to/3tZu9Cf

Q: 6. Can I use this adapter with EP-5A power supply connector?

A: Yes, it is compatible with the EP-5A.

Q: 7. Is there a reason I couldn't use a different USB AC adapter (like one for the iPhone) to charge an H6?

A: As different devices require different amounts of voltage and amperage, it is best to use a power supply tailored specifically to the power needs of your device. The Zoom AD-17 AC Adapter for Select Zoom Devices provides the proper power output required by the devices it is compatible with.

Q: 8. Is this compatible with the KP? I cannot find the k-ac167 anywhere.

A: Yes, it is compatible. Click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/2YPCJHw

Q: 9. What is the power specifications for the adapter? Is it 9v or 7.2v as the battery?

A: The ac adapter is 9v.

Q: 10. Has anyone tested this for multiple days? Other ones work for awhile then somehow show an empty battery indicator after a day.

A: The Nikon EH-5d AC Adapter (B&H# NIEH5D) can produce the same amount of power even when used for long periods. However, higher temperatures could cause an increase in impedance and therefore a slight reduction in voltage output from the MOSFETs. As such, we'd recommend making sure to allow the transformer's heat to escape during use rather than, say, covering it with anything that might insulate it, leaving it in the sun, or otherwise preventing it from touching surfaces that have the potential to wick heat away from it such as a cool floor. Since something similar can happen to your camera (which has the potential to cause or contribute to this problem, too, even if no overheating is sensed nor warned about), you may also wish to leave the battery door of your camera open, the rear screen pulled or at least tilted away from the body of the camera, and your camera mounted to something that can serve as a heat sink such as an L-bracket, cage, or tripod. Shading the camera from direct sunlight is also helpful.
