A: When using the HDMI-out cord, make sure it is clipped on to the tripod; the plug is very small, and if you pan much and the wire gets pulled, it will crack the HDMI port in the camera, and cost much to repair (a repair place said they must replace the entire internal circuit board, and can't just soldier on a new port.
