A: Looking in the manual of the Fuji HS50 there doesn't appear to be a port that allows the ac adapter cable to be threaded through so you can close the battery door. If that is not available you won't be able to close the battery door, then the camera won't turn on.

With cameras like the A6000/a6100/A6600 etc it worked great. This adapter is speedboosted 0.71X which increases the amount of light and field of view a bit. Using it on an A7III/A7RIII you would want to shoot in APS-C. As for the Full Frame Image makes it look wonky and not good. So in short it's intended for Crop/APS-C use, but will fit on a Sony FE body.
