The Smart AVi HDX-TX100 HDMI Transmitter transfers HDMI signals to a local display and a display monitor that is up to 150' away via CAT6 STP cabling. It offers HD images (1080p) up to a resolution of 1920 x 1200. The transmitter comes with a power supply (PS5VDC1A) and is ideal for use in retail locations, bars, lounges, and showroom floors.

Installing the transmitter in a remote, secure location such as a computer room or back office of a business allows you to broadcast HD media to customers at a bandwidth of 1.65 GBps while being able to view the displayed content on a local display. The HDX-100S HDMI Transmitter learns the DDC (Display Data Channel) of the display device and adapts to the different display settings of the device such as brightness and contrast ratio. With a plug-n-play setup, this compact (6.37 x 5.18 x .87") transmitter can be easily connected to any digital display network.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. The picture showcase the EL-Skyport (old Version). If we buy it on B&H, Is it the new version of the transmitter Pro - Code EL19371 on the Elinchrom Website (without the EL-Skyport write on it) ?

A: The EL-Skyport Transmitter Pro for Sony that we carry is the most current version.

Q: 2. what is the different between Rotolight Elinchrom EL-Skyport Transmitter Plus HS for Canon and the EL-Skyport Transmitter Pro for Canon, Elinchrom ?

A: This version is for Canon cameras using the Elinchrom flashes. The Rotolight version https://bhpho.to/2OeFdrR is optimized for use with the Rotolight LED flash.

Q: 3. Is this compatable with eos r with a rotolight ii?

A: This transmitter is compatible with the Canon EOS R as per the manufacturer to trigger both Elinchrom lamp heads with a Skyport receiver or the Rotolight NEO 2.

Q: 4. Will this transmitter be compatible with the ELC Pro HD 1000 monolight right out of the box (i.e. No need for any firmware updates, etc...)?

A: I don't have an ELC Pro HD 1000. I suppose it should. I have Quadra, RX Style, and Digital RX Power Pack 2400 and it works with all of them (Nikon Version on D3X).

Q: 5. Will an old Elinchrom Quadra A Head work with a Nikon D850 in TTL mode with this unit? In other words, can I set my Nikon to, say, 1/250 and f11, use a single Quadra head automatically, and have the exposure come out right? I already have the original skyport unit, and if I put it in the hot shoe of the D850, it fires my Quadra just fine , but only in manual. Im trying to decide if this unit will get a capability I dont already have.

A: No; these units do not have TTL flash metering.

Q: 6. Is this (Ares II) compatible with the older Ares (not Ares II) receivers?

A: The Ares II and Ares are not compatible with each other.

Q: 7. I shoot both Nikon and Fuji. I am only interested in the high-speed sync on the Nikons (and I don't need TTL on either system), so if I got the Nikon-compatible model for that purpose, could I use the same unit to simply fire the flash on a Fuji camera?

A: Yes you can fire the flash with Fuji camera and the trigger only manual

Q: 8. Will this product be compatible with the Sony HVL-F43RM or the new Sony HVL-F45RM?

A: No

Q: 9. How can i incorporate my canon 600 exrt with this trigger?

A: The only possible wireless route is Pocket Wizard if you are having HS in mind - expensive route. Hhnel and some other similar pass-through hotshoe trigger/transceiver products can be used. Elinchrom has built EL Skyport Receivers HS recently, which will be triggered by this HS trigger. This also means that for each speedlite you will need such an Elinchrom receiver plus. This seems to be the better option because you will need only this HS trigger on top of your camera (comparing to other systems), which will trigger your speedlite which should be on top of the Receiver HS. However, I am not convinced that Elinchrom has mastered HS technology 100%. Though I love my Elinchrom strobes.

Q: 10. Planning on using this flash with the ELB 400 Hi Sync's, but might want to use with ELB 500/1200 TTL's in future. Is this transmitter the newest model that does TTL as well? The name matches Elinchrom's listing for the newest generation transmitter that does TTL, but the video and specs BH have listed don't mention TTL. I'm guessing this might just be a lack of updating on BH's end from the "Skyport HS" older generation to this one, the Pro? Thanks in advance for any clarification you can provide

A: Yes this is the latest Ttl Transmitter from Elinchrom for Canon
