Designed with the new or existing home in mind, the Loft Ladder is spring loaded and adjusts from 2.7 to 10.9' when fully extended. It is Type 1A rated, permitting a load capacity of 300 lb. Constructed of lightweight aluminum, the ladder has wide steps for more comfortable climbing and standing. It can be used in 7', 8', 9', and 10' ceiling heights.

A: The photo is not correct. It does have 8 steps that can be used on one side.

A: The load limit is 665 lb.

Q: 3. Do you have a replacement part that is compatible with a 1205 model?

A: I tried them for the 1600 model (round tubes) and they didn't fit. The 1800 has oval tubes.

A: it is 22 inches

Q: 5. Do you begin extending the ladder from the bottom wrung?

A: Yes. The following unit rises from the bottom to the top.

Q: 6. How do i turn the Wheels?

A: They are kind of hard to rotate out. I hold the ladder and step on the wheel to push it down, then out.

A: Yes, they are the same.

A: Yes the Telesteps 1600E Ladder Replacement Feet (Pair), B&H # TEF1600E, would be compatible for use with the Telesteps 1600EP 16 ft Reach Telescoping Extension Ladder. The Telesteps 1600E Ladder Replacement Feet (Pair) would be compatible for use with the 1600E, 1600EP, and 1600ET ladders only.

Q: 9. What is the weight limit to this? It looks like the limiting factor is the clamp? Could I hang 4 360Qs?

A: Altman does not have a specific weight limit for this ladder but it can support up to four 360Q lights.But with any light it is best to use a safety cable on each one.

Q: 10. can it be mounted on the longer side of hatch opening?

A: Spoke with handy man he said you need about 6 feet to open and pull out and have enough room to carry anything up

These wheels are great. They're light weight keeps the ladder easy to pick up and move. The folding design keeps the ladder flat when folded. They are large enough to handle sidewalk curbs and most unpaved paths. 5

I am a location photographer, and I use lights. Bottom line, I have a lot of gear to lug. A dolly makes that easier--but then I always find myself needing a step stool. So this dual purpose tool works out great. Lightweight, compact and it fold flat (wheels too). I like it so far. Not sure why the wheels are sent separately--got the ladder, my wheels got shipped to the wrong address. Of course B&H handled it FAST, so it was no big deal. 5
