This Stabilization Spreader Kit for MegaMast from Studio Assets helps keep the MegaMast steady in breezy to moderate windy conditions. Similar to the way a sailboat mast is stabilized, the 3 ropes attach to a plate at the top of the stand and are then threaded through the spreader which is located mid-MegaMast. Finally the ropes are attached to the legs at the bottom and are tightened with the rope's ratcheting pulleys.

A: It can hold the weight of that large lens and camera well. The issue is that the grip will be far forward from where the camera is, so you will need to extend your arm a lot to press on the grip and move the camera at the same time to set the angles. Also the connection point of the quick release plate is small while the foot of the lens is large, so will be hard to find the plate underneath the foot of the lens.
